How ******* good is the Ken of 2020 talking about Westhoff btw - no emotion, no gold passes, just pure business and making the best decision for the club to set us up for finals. Compare this to the Ken of I think 2018 practically in tears when he had to leave out Paddy and Hoff for a round - it's chalk and cheese.

Other way around.Do we want to win and play Tigers or lose and play Geelong?
Yeh, that.Other way around.
Neither of those two changes will affect the result.
Just shuffling deck chairs on a sinking ship.
Should get over the Pies by ten points if we are focused on the job at hand.
Terrible analogy mate tbh.Neither of those two changes will affect the result.
Just shuffling deck chairs on a sinking ship.
Should get over the Pies by ten points if we are focused on the job at hand.
Here they are so you can see who is travellingVeteran Justin Westhoff has been named among the emergencies days after announcing he would be retiring at the end of the season, while first-year midfielder Jackson Mead is also an emergency for the first time.
Fellow first-year player Miles Bergman and Sam Mayes are also on the emergency list.
Do they all fly up and when are we flying up - ie what time tomorrow??
Reckon the Hoff might still get to play.

i heard that too. Great opportunity to not have to fly up on the day of the game.
Our performances against Richmond have been better. Our record against Geelong is a disgrace.Do we want to win and play Tigers or lose and play Geelong?

We are due to do a Number on Geelong and they have a habit of out in Straight sets! Our performances against Richmond have been better. Our record against Geelong is a disgrace.
Despite this, I'd rather play Geelong - I think Richmond are a better side when it really matters.![]()
We're likely to get both Richmond and Geelong, so it's not a case of missing them. It's more what's preferable
a) Richmond week 1 then Geelong after we've had a week off and they haven't.
b) Geelong week 1 then Richmond after we've had a week off and they haven't.
We need every edge against Geelong more than Richmond. Not that we should look to lose, but run out and play in the PB's and see if we can win and lose at the same time.
No. We win the qualifying, have a weeks rest, play the other of the two in the preliminary whilst they played the semi-final. Geelong is the side that we'd need to go more body on body contact to win. Given their 'I'm sure completely innocent' size of players, we'd do better with that challenge when they are recovering from a game, whilst we're fresh.I see you've already assumed we're going to lose the qualifying final.
lol, why does everyone keep saying they prefer to play Richmond who are 2 time Premiers, compared to Geelong who bomb out every season.
I even saw someone post earlier this year that they think Geelong will expose Richmond in the finals. lol.
The only reason we play better against Richmond in H&A is because they just cruise through till finals time. Apart from the final where Coxzilla got hold of them, they have destroyed teams in every other finals game they have played, including the Grand Finals.
We're due all right...every time we've allowed them to play the way they want. They can't be allowed to play their possession game...I'm just not convinced we're good enough to stop it. We're not exactly renowned for being able to adjust our game to handle different opposition. We are due to do a Number on Geelong and they have a habit of out in Straight sets!
