If the AFL won't take the action they should have already taken (ref. SPP) then we will need to shut him down. GC have basically left him unmarked.
We need to send Chad Cornes or Voss or someone out there to have a few choice words with him about his legal situation, the same as Malthouse did with Stephen Milne.

Ideally Burton ☹. Not sure either McKenzie or Bonner is a good match. Hammer? DBJ can get under his skin too.
Hammer May be 3cm’s shorter, but I think he would be the best option. He has been playing very well of late and would be able to cover the ground quite well. He may also just punch that finger a few times 🤔 McKenzie could also do well on him, has 3cms on him. Either way we have options. Just keep Bonner away from him!

We need some height down back to stop this guy from taking some marks.

If Saints lose to GWS, Magpies will have nothing to play for as they will avoid West Coast..

Dixon to Georgiades
Gray to Woodcock
Boak to Drew
Clurey to Westhoff or Lienert

Boak has to play, he's got a potential Brownlow up for grabs.

Hammer 1st try but if slippery conditions DBJ 2nd option. He has explosive speed. We need to rely on intercept marks to nullify him in air. But as always, it will be our pressure in midfield and defensive structures to best combat his talent.

Farrell and Motlop battling last position when Butters returns. But Woodcock had a good game against Tigers and clean in high pressure game. Not sure why out of favour, probably lack of sustainable defensive pressure and too many times he did not execute on his role during the post tigers games. But has x factor. Farrell, if lucky, might get one last chance. Poor game against Collingwood then he exits for Butters. Motlop v Woodcock then. Tough call, experience v untainted youth...

No way.

After the Collingwood game if we win our first final that will be our only game in 4 weeks.

One of the main reasons I do not like a pre finals bye. Instead of giving the top teams the advantage of a rest, it almost gives them a disadvantage of too much time off and continuity ruined. It’s already bad enough that non-Vic teams don’t get to earn a home grand final.

And this year with the changes to training numbers and no reserves comp it will be doubly difficult. Crows and Hawks will be finished after next week so no scratch matches with them.
That point and the GF at the Gabba will give the hub clubs an advantage.
6 of the 8 finals teams will be hubbing in Qld
Unless the AFL cancels all
Scratch matches so as not to disadvantage us or WC but I can’t see that happening. Our slow starts are a concern as it is.
Hopefully the club is getting clarification from the AFL.
