Opinion Changes vs. Collingwood

Even if we are trying to settle the side for finals, you have to take Woodcock over Farrell any day of the week. Woodcock has some mongrel, flair and X-factor about him that stands up in finals-type games. Pretty sure he played alright against Richmond as well in our best game of the season if I am correct? Was able to find the footy without a hitch in only his first handful of games. Farrell has had a fair few opportunities now and just hasn't had the impact we expect in a top-2 team.

Butters comes back in for whoever the worst performer is next week. Bonner comes out for Burton when he's back.

Great shout. My only change for next week is Woodcock in for Farrell.

I like this. As others have said in other threads, a finals series / possible premiership without Hoff there won't feel 100%. Give the big man a chance floating in that wing / hff position, in a game that ultimately doesn't mean a lot and see if he can have one last go at grabbing the chance with both hands.

The other, less sentimental version, is Stiffy instead.

Collingwood are only playing the 2 talls tomorrow. So if they were to do the same against us, we probably are safe playing McKenzie deep and Jonas as the next tall. I think Jonas would match up reasonably well on Mihocek anyway because Brodie is far from the big bulls like Dixon, Hawkins etc.

If there is any concern with Clurey’s hamstring we should rest him. He did play out last nights game on and off, so it is probably a mild hamstring. Best to have him ready to go week 1 of the finals.

its a good warm-up game for finals, when Collingwood are good they are good but when they are bad they seem to over posses and go around in circles. They do that because they have a weak forward line which should be able to be shut down. One thing they are good at is getting first use out of stoppages, we can win there we will starve them of scoring shots and win the game.
