chartres is nothing more than a honest player, doesn't have the same talent dick has, but his work ethic is probably 10 times better from what i have heard

You would think Hooker would have to get a run before Magin, Straight swap for naegle with Micheal being unlucky to come out for Fletcher. Not that Micheal didn't have a good game it's just that there is no match up for him.
 
So i take it from the injury list and what we had on Saturday minus Welsh,Monfries and Neagle we have 3 out of 7 players to choose from them being:

Rhys Magin
Tom Bellchambers ( can't play 3 ruckmen )
John Williams
Cale Hooker
Danny Chartres ( has to be elevated first )
Dean Dick ( has to be elevated first )
Andy Lovett ( club susp )

This is all of course that Fletch and Welshy don't get thru.

I would give the 3 that aren't bracketed a crack why the hell not we have nothing to lose. At least we get a look at what they can do.
 
Please not the rookies!

None of them have shown enough form or talent to be a cause for optimism. Ever the optimist, I have sadly run my race and cannot see any of those young lads making the grade. Thankfully the brunt of our kids will be back soon and we will be able to see them play. This year we have seen Jetta, Riemers, Lonergan and Houli flourish when put in the team. The next batch will be coming through very soon. Neagle, Gumbleton, Dempsey and Pears to name a few.

This weeks changes

IN: Magin:eek:, Fletcher

Out: Monfries, Neagle

Happy to hear Neagle is out for the rest of the year. Lets hope he gets his body right.

PS: Jetta is fast becoming my second favourite player. If the rumour is true that Ryder wanted Jetta at Essendon, then that pulls Ryder further away from the pack. Both will be stars of Essendon. We need a nickname for Jetta.

Not sure if many of you have seen the other thread on the main board - But it looks as though Scotty's knee troubles have flared up again. Is this our worst season for injuries... Ever?

Time will tell if he's right to play.

Do you Dons supporters ever ask yourselves if someone at the club has shot an albatross or something?
The club is in the grip of some of the worst luck I can remember at the moment...
Anyway, best of luck (but not too much) for the game.

We're using up all of our injury bad luck now, so that next year we can have none, and win #17 with the Baby Bombers Mark II.:D

Here's to a cracking game, with Didak and H Shaw doing well for Dream Team, and everyone else having shockers for you guys.:p

This may sound weird, but I hope your boys go for an all out "shoot out".
The Swans, Adelaide and then North makes or some pretty god-damned boring footy (north not so much, but you know what I mean).

I want to see some fast running, open football. and us to win of course.

I think it's obvious what has happened. Keps is obviously some greek mythological god who has put a curse on us for sending him into the pit of doom (Freo). Oh great Keplar, please forgive us for what we have done to you, we were not aware of how vicious and cruel we were being at the time.
