Potential ins: Frawley, Bail, Bartram, Couch, Cook, Davis, Petterd
Potential outs: Green, Blease, Dunn, Macdonald, Morton

So, what do you guys think this week?

I'd personally like to see no change but Frawley, Bail and Bartram have to find their way back in at some point, plus there's a few guys knocking on the door from the VFL.

I'm thinking something like this, although VFL form will play a hand and I know Couch was fairly quiet while Cook kicked three, but:

In: Frawley, Bail.
Out: Macdonald, Green.

What does everyone think?

Not to sure Barttram has to find his way back in........

Nicholson & Blease are both in before Bartram, personally I think Bartram might be done.

Green was very good last night and I thought Macca was solid.

If there's any changes:

Frawley in for Seller
Bail for Morton.

To be honest I'd like to keep Green in the side if only to patrol in the forward 50. He still has things to offer in the forward line.

Out: Seller
In: Frawley

Keep Sellar in, he played really well on Ryder I thought.

Especially against the Pies this week... we all remember what happened last year when Rivers was isolated on both Cloke and Dawes at stages. Obviously Cloke is in rubbish form, and TBH I'm not even sure if Dawes is playing ATM, but if the GC doesn't play Cloke in to form, then we surely will by leaving Rivers on him again. Sellar stays for as long as he's given a more defined role than "provide a contest in the forward line, just bring the ball to ground mate".

And yes he did pretty well on Ryder for the most part... albeit not on a night for tall forwards.

Sellar played well last night but if Frawley is right it is an automatic swap. Our backline would be too tall with Watts,Sellar,Rivers,Macdonald, frawley.
5 talls in our backline against 2 talls in their forward line would be a mismatch.

If there's any changes:

Frawley in for Seller
Bail for Morton.

This is my initial impression too. If Blease doesn't come up then perhaps Bartram and a re-shuffle.

The best listed for Casey were Sheahan, Panozza, Davis, J Tynan, Davey, Cook.

(J Tynan was listed as 1 week injury (foot) so not sure if that is L Tynan can someone confirm).

I dare say Neeld and some of the lads and support coaches will be in the grand stand today watching the Pies.

Sellar seems like he is a massive confidence player. Had a terrific game last night whilst Joel Mac was his usual "MEH" self. Frawley for Macdonald if fit, keeps Sellar in while his tail is up and see if he can develop some consistency.

Bail for Blease if he is injured for next week.
Frawley for JMac if Frawley is fit. I think it's a bit too early to be putting a heap of faith in Sellar, but he played well and deserves to keep his spot in the side.
That's all the changes I'd make, the team played well last night. Morton may be dropped if someone is really pushing in the VFL, but I think he should stay for now. Bartram, while he is in the leadership group, will have to earn his spot back like anyone else.

I would remove Joel Mac before Sellar after that game.

Why?

Macdonald had a really solid game I thought, he's a much underrated player.

Sellar was good as well but I think that he offers us less flexibility than Macdonald.

Frawley can go with smalls, Watts can keep up with anyone as well.

In: Frawley
Out: T.McDonald

- Played well but his kicking is putrid and will get abused by the Pies

I thought both Macdonalds were solid, why hatred??

I don't think there's hatred, just thinking in terms of our best 22. If Frawley's fighting fit he needs to be in the side.

Tom has been outstanding this season. One of the most improved players at the club. Beat Hurley last night, and has rarely been beaten all season. Not sure why we would consider dropping him. Would be a perfect match up for Tyson Goldack tbh, leaving Sellar on Dawes and Rivers to play third man up in defence.

After a confidence boosting win to the team, would be crazy to make man ychanges this week. If Frawley is fit, he comes in for JMac. If Blease doesn't get up, maybe bring in Flash or Bennell to cover for pace. But I hope Blease gets up as I feel he's turned a corner in his game.

Won't happen, very good for a first year player and has been more than solid. IMO you can not have a backline with the height you are suggesting all in the same side especially when the opposing team is not that tall.

JMac is an interesting one. Had tenacity but my main gripe with him is he falls to ground too much. Whether he keeps his spot is 50/50 I think.

Yes he's been very good but his disposal needs serious correcting, his mistakes will gift the Pies goals and we can't afford to gift them anything.

While he was good on Hurley last night, it was not the night for big men.

Just let me get this straight. You are absolutely bagging our own player when he's a first year player, a young kid having a go and played on supposedly 1 of the best kpf in the land. Yet you defend Hurley by saying it wasn't a night for big men.

hhhhhhmmmmmmm Hurley 193cm Tmac 194cm.

Do you even support your team & it's players??
