Is there much to read into the post match JK interview, where said Gov and Lecca back in next week?
Cannot see Gov back next week. They will be ultra cautious with him and that hammy for mine.

Cripps
Reckon Cripps will play myself, but given Lecca is in the wings,we may just err on the side of caution...

NN IN (pending headspace) LYCETT OUT
BARRASS IN Schoey OUT
Cripps will be a definite in or out. If his jaw is cracked, out. If it was a soft tissue injury erring on the side of caution would come into play. Will have to wait for scans. Kudos for coming back on the field, esp considering Schofield went down.

Not sure if NicNat will be ready, assuming he's not

Schoey for Barrass.

Besides this I can't see the match committee making many changes to a winning team, I'd love to see Nelson get a game though, kid is clean, he is class. Pace and a good kick, can't wait until he and Dugg are regulars.

ps: Forgot Lecras was only gone for the 1 week, will be an unlucky player to miss if it's one of Rosa, Hutch or Ginners because I liked what all 3 produced today. Perhaps Cripps if he is sore.

OUT. Lycett, Schofield. (If Cripps is no good)

IN NicNat, Lecras. (in Newman)

Rosa sub. Ginners on field to smash Dollhouse all game.

Not sure where the calls over the past few weeks for Murray Newman to get a game have come from, certainly not based on his WAFL form which is modest at best. This is a guy who's played 4 AFL games for 3 goals, 3 years ago and since coming out of gaol has underperformed at the level below. Needs to do way more to even come into calculations.

Scared to death about playing you guys in your fortress next week!
Think it will be a really good match, nice and quick, rebound footy.

I do think we'll have you covered over here though.

But you shouldn't be scared. Dogs playing some wonderful football!

Just let Sinclair ruck most of the game solo. Tom Campbell is thoroughly mediocre.

That being said, I hope that Nic Nat is able to come back because he will give us a massive advantage in the middle.
Yeah I'm sure we'll do this but who should we send to the Ruck when he's resting? Yeo :S...
IF Nic Nat feels ready to play I'll welcome him back with open arms (of course)

Tom Boyd kicked 5 in the VFL this weekend. I think given our injuries they'll bring him back. He might actually hold a mark or two. RoPo your time has come! ;)

Out: Lycett (PCL), Cripps (Fractured Jaw), Schofield (Hamstring)

In: Naitanui, Le Cras, Barrass

Should be a cracking game next week. Without sounding disrespectful to NicNat and his horrible family news, I think he'll play this week. LeCras comes back. Does Selwood?

Who goes out for you guys? Lycett, Schofield. Do you guys think Barrass is a definite inclusion?

I think the only change for us that I'm game enough to lock in is Darley will be omitted and Johannissen comes back. After all the talk about us not having a tough draw I can't wait to play you guys. A massive challenge against a great side that's dealt with many injuries superbly this year.

Best of luck, may the best team win and please football gods, no injuries to either team.

Butler Barras Ellis
Wellingham Hurn Sheppard
Rosa Shuey Gaff
Masten Darling Hill
Cripps Kennedy Lecras

Foll: Yeo, Pridds, Nic Nat

Int: Hutch, Sinclair, Sheed Sub: P Mcginnty

Cant wait to have: McGovern & Schofield to complete the side and that time Butler and Mcginnty to go

NicNat watched the game in Fiji today , sending his congratulations to the team on twitter evidently .
Up to NicNat whether he plays .... really tough for him .

Who woulda thought after rnd 1 that the WCE/Dogs rematch would be a top 4 clash... Footy is a weird sport.

Would have got ridiculously high odds on this but its good to see sides playing attacking footy getting rewarded - Freo excluded.

It's been said a few times but that match was better than a lot of people gave it credit for because both sides were expected to miss the eight.

So much this. Massively under rated game because everyone thought it was two bottom 6 sides but it was played at a very high standard and a 10 point loss to them at Etihad doesn't look all that shabby especially when you factor in Brown going down in the first ten minutes

Who goes out for you guys? Lycett, Schofield. Do you guys think Barrass is a definite inclusion?

Barrass almost has to come in if Schofield and McGovern are out injured. Sheppard and Hurn have done yeoman's work but they shouldn't be matching up on key forwards every week. Plus Barrass has been very good in the WAFL and was solid in his games against Sydney and Gold Coast.

Been impressed with your boys, their form has been fantastic recently and they seem a pretty likeable bunch of players. I remember people overreacting and saying it would be a number of years before the Dogs would be good again, after Griffen and McCartney quit on the club. Too much good young talent to stay down that long, though, and it seems like Beveridge has done a great job there. In large part because the Dogs are playing the same fast pace that the Eagles have been playing this year. Reckon that Beveridge and Simpson would have to be the two contenders for Senior Coach of the Year. Moral of the story, when you want a senior coach, hire someone who has been at Hawthorn.
