Aren't you the one who forgives Priddis these types of errors

No, an error's an error no matter who does it, the claim was he'd only made one error. Like Kennedy when he dropped that lace out pass from Priddis in the last quarter.

Not sure about some of the calls for Nelson's head. If he goes we lose our only true lockdown defender; Butler, Hurn, Ellis, Bennell aren't that type of player. He kept Thomas quiet which was a good effort. If he goes I can see Hird telling his small forwards, "Here's your chance boys, they'll give you some lattitude so make them pay".

I thought that given the conditions in Hobart we went in too tall. McInnes had 5 minutes of glory and little else and Sinclair was barely sighted and was always going to stuggle in that wind. Personally I would have had Yeo at center half forward; way better contested mark, can adjust position better in the windy conditions and way better on the ground. Would love to see a future forward line of Kennedy, Darling, McGovern, LeCras, Hill and Cripps

We're cooked Eagles by 100 points.

We'll be shaky early. If you guys come out of the blocks it will be a game.

We should win comfortably but you guys do love to wave your jackets around.

Goals win games . A good kick under the pressure these great backmen you talk about bring . Also the mental side of the crowd etc . Nuh good forwards more valuable
This sentence broke my brain a little bit. You're like an extreme version of Yoda or something.

I wonder if there is any chance they will consider Rosa as the sub. Would suit the role well, although they probably want him to come back through the WAFL.

Started the season in ripping form but after injuring and then re-injuring the same hammy I think he has to come back through the WAFL. It's a shame because after his job on Judd in Round 2 he would've been a great option for Jab Watson.

I agree with everything you say, (and please forgive me) but you committed a common error of grammar that I see daily. The only reason I am pointing it out is that, by doing it five times, I felt obliged to correct you.

It is not "could of"/"would of", rather it is "could've"/"would've" or "could have"/"would have". The reason it is so common is because the contracted version of have sounds the same as of when spoken. :)
To do that i have to go into another menu on phone and really can not be bothered to tell you the truth half the time im trying not to get caught on the phone from the boss

IN: Darling, Ellis

OUT: McInnes, Nelson

Probably would give one of those two the vest.

Not sure who would come out for Rosa next week... unless they decide to rest Duggan.

I'm not sure if Rosa is in our best 22 anymore, tbh. More so because we have better players now who offer more. We don't need him on the wing as a link man and with Wellingham's success down back, it's hard to see a spot for him. Handy depth player to have, though.

Even if not in the midfield think he would offer more than butler down back.

I think our best 17 is pretty set (talking more in general than this week in particular):

Butler Schofield Sheppard
Hurn McGovern Wellingham
Masten Priddis Gaff
LeCras Darling ?
Cripps Kennedy Hill

Naitanui Yeo Shuey

Then have 1 more defender from Ellis/Nelson/Rosa/Bennell

2 mids from Selwood/Sheed/Duggan/Rosa

1 ruck/forward from Sinclair/Lycett/McInnes

Sub from the defender mid groups.

My choices would be:
Def - Ellis
Mids - Duggan and Selwood or Sheed
Ruck - No idea
Sub - Rosa

In : Lycett, Darling, Ellis (as Sub)

Out : Sinclair, McInnes, Hill

We have still got problems with our midfield and we have periods where we let the opposition get a run on and take the game away from us. We need to have the midfielders getting back to support an undermanned defence and we need more rotations in the midfield to keep the pressure on all game.

Play an extra mid instead of useless Hill. A fwd line of Kennedy, Darling, Lycett, Lecras & Cripps is potent enough. If Sheed played the full game instead of the invisible Hill, we beat North as the extra mid stops us from leaking those late 3qtr goals. Hill's insipid and atrocious effort should see him dumped to East Perth to his contract runs out. 9 years in the AFL system is a large enough sample size to come to the conclusion that Josh Hill is list clogging trash.

Like Hill, Sinclair & McInnes are taking us nowhere. They have heart but Sinclair is not an effective ruckmen or forward and McInnes while engaging a key defender and taking some pressure off Kennedy just doesn't do enough throughout the game. If Lycett can't do a better job in the ruck than Sinclair, if Lycett can't do a better job when playing fwd than McInnes we should of never of given him that contract. Time to find out what Lycett can do.

You really need to get off the fence and tell us what you really think about Hill.

Don't think I've seen so much invective directed at one player, and I mod the Priddis thread.

> Second in our goal kicking
> In career best form
> Has one bad game
> List clogger

Junk time goals against bad teams then falling apart against decent opposition. Only been going on for 9 years. Pretty simple really if you don't put your head over the football you are a coward. If you disappear against good teams you are a frontrunner. If you don't run up the field to support your teammates you are lazy.
