Ok so son son on crutches is a pretty good indication we can't pick him next week. Especially since he already was under an injury cloud.

Dropping like flies

There's obviously a reason why Hannath keeps getting picked and Clarke doesn't. But oil beef hooked if I know what it is.

A good performance tomorrow for Peel could see a few players up for selection. If Sylvia doesn't blitz it then I reckon he's in trouble.

Very nfew could be happy with their performance against hawthorn but Spur and deboer must gooooooo!

Ibbo, Walters (both inj), Hannath, Suban,

Clancee, Sylvia, Clarke, Dawson

Eyes on - DPearce (nowhere in first half), these guys have plenty of credits but another bad one and the heat is on - Spurr, Deboer, Sutcliffe. These guys didn't lift, they're kids and should get a crack at Essendon - Sheridan, Crozier, Neale.

Simpson needs a good-great 3-4 weeks of wafl for mine, let's not forget how far back he was.
Mora just tick him over until the draw gets easier, no matter how great a story it'd be. Play his first game away to ease the pressure.

Surely Morabito must at least get considered next week. Screw 8 weeks he is very much like Mundy and Barlow. Don't have much else at present
8 weeks seems about right. No way should he be played next week, the blokes skills have been down so hes working on them at WAFL. Hes played less than 5 games in 3 years.

People are way too harsh on Hannath. Hes a second year player, take your frustration aside and realize he is a second year player who is actually progressing quite well if you actually pay attention. What exactly will be the big difference when Clarke comes in? The second ruckman needs to be able to play forward and Clarke is a useless forward. Yes I'm aware Clarke is better than Hannath, but the way some people talk down Hannath in here is a joke.

Out:
Hannath, ibbo, Walters, crozier
In:
Clarke, Dawson , Sylvia, clancee

Crozier didn't do enough for mine to hold his spot
Sheridan as sub for speed at subi
Neale holds his spot by default, not crucifying him for an average game but if Fyfe or Barlow were about he wouldn't be a consideration
Dawson for ibbo obviously
Clancee forms part of the HB and mid rotations,
Deboer back to his infamous HF defensive on Goddard in croziers absence
Sylvia forms part of HF and mid rotations in Walters absence ( if injured)
Clarke for Hannath is obvious, Hannah clearly not afl standard and I challenge anyone to prove otherwise ( buddy smack talk )

All makes sense to me

Really not confident. We're usually their bunnies in early season, and Essendon are no mugs either. Dropping points to top 4 contenders is not good, crucial period, even this early in the season.

Sheridan got 8 touches in Round One and 9 touches in three quarters, that's simply not good enough, he has to be dropped. He played a good quarter in Round Two, but the game was over by then.

Hes a second year player, how many ruckmen show they are AFL standard in there second year?

If Walters is out I don't think you can justify dropping Crozier, don't really have too many natural small forwards on our list and Crozier is one of those. "Didn't do enough for mine" doesn't really cut it IMO, that description fits most of the team including many of our senior players.

Looks like tomorrow's WAFL game gets even bigger, lots of intriguing sub-contests with players vying for the same spots.

I do like your changes though and would have Sylvia in for Suban instead of Crozier. Hate to say this but I'm just not sure what Suban's role in the side is, problem is he may feel the same way.

Suban has also only had 18 touches total in the 2 games he's played this year. And he wasn't subbed off at 3/4 time either.
