My fault, I thought it was Elari because they were seen wrestling before hand. It was Carey that he threw out of the way as he appeared to be blocking his run at the ball. Zac is not an aggressive player and there was no malice in it. The umpire was just stamping his authority on the game.

That was the incident I saw too. Didn't see him rag-doll Cary.

Do I detect a hint of sarcasm Keys?

You can't deny that for all the talk of our super tough fixture, that's a pretty long run of relatively cruisy games given the exposed form of those teams this year.

We're lucky really, you can never have too hard a fixture when you get to play the eagles twice every year.

Maybe a smidge

But you hit the nail on the head re the fixture. For all the talk of tough or easy draws there isn't a great deal of difference in the sides you play overall but there will be patches when you play better or worse teams

You're a genuine top two side so on paper you're run should look easier because you're clearly better than most of your opponents. And yes ATM that includes the eagles

There are lots of metrics used to rate difficulty of fixture, all the ones I have seen and common sense from looking at the damn thing rate our 2014 harder than 2013. As it should be, if the "rules" are followed

Hannath free to play, but may get dropped for Clarke anyhow.

"Hannath had a first quarter incident against Hawthorn's Matt Spangher assessed by the AFL Match Review Panel (MRP), but no action was taken.

The MRP stated that the ball had been kicked into the Fremantle forward line, where Spangher attempts to mark the ball. Hannath attempts to spoil the mark and makes high contact with Spangher. A free kick was paid at the time and it was the view of the panel that the forced used was below that required to constitute a reportable offence."

surely anybody wanting a recall needs to string a couple of excellent games with Peel, unless they are best 22.
hence, Sylvia & Morabito closest to playing AFL of the last weekend's Peel players.

Ross on 6PR.
Said Clarke, Clancee and Syliva played well and could press for a spot.

I missed what he said about Walters, Mayne and Ibbo?

I hope Sylvia comes in and thrives to be back on the big stage !! Keeps his spot and replaces Barlow for a few weeks so we still have our 3 big mids, then when Barlow is back !! BOOM 4 !!!

Yeah ?

Mayne and Walters both proppy with ankles but hasnt had full assessment yet. Said Mayne was in better condition than Walters.

Ibbos injury is similar to Hilly and Fyfe last year. Could play through it but may need surgery.

How long was Hill out for last year? Fyfe's was a recurring problem.

Thing is, that shoulder popped out in a fairly innocuous fashion. I wouldn't want to play him if he was susceptible to this injury happening early in another game. One for the medicos to look at, I guess.
