looking at these selections it looks like Butcher will never play another game for us again. Would of been a great opportunity this week. Clearly not apart of our future.

He means that you're happy to cite Lockwood's injuries as an excuse but don't do the same for Butcher.

Also yes, Butcher would be the biggest player development failure the club has ever had.

Why does the official PAFC website list the coming Magpies v Sturt game as the 'club debut' of Tom Jonas? I thought we were one club? Surely it should be SANFL debut? It also list's Tom's previous clubs as Rostrevor/Norwood and Port Adelaide AFL.

If we cannot get it right ourselves we can hardly complain when our opposition gets it wrong.

Maybe I am being too pedantic but we did fight hard to be recognised as one club.

It seems pretty clear that while there is a statistical chance that we can make the 8, we will persist with the same selection "strategy".
If we lose one more it really becomes a feat of magic to make it to the finals.
It will be at this point that I will question the selection sanity, if they continue to be risk averse in the selection policy

I am happy with this weeks selections. The Hoon deserves his spot, we get back the speed we have been missing with White, and we need a strong inside mid to help Ollie. Moore was great last week, and we want to really give him his last chance to see if his future is with us?

Talk of bringing in Harvey & Butcher are laughable IMO ... Sorry people, no offense! But we only give them a go when there are three matches left in the season, and we are done and dusted.

What really bothers me is it has taken so long to realize!
Making strong decisive decisions is not out strong point, waste of time money and talent imo.

Totally agree, he has given us a spark we have been missing. If our midfield and clearances improve, he will only get better

The problem is he not strong enough to push off players and ends up getting caught. Has to hurry up when disposing of the ball and/or get bigger.

Maybe Hoff or monfries, wouldn't select white after 6 weeks out.

It's not his SANFL debut. He played for Norwood
