Clurey will probably get dropped even though he played so well. We can't even swin the axe because everyone else is shit

Amon and Moore IN

Ah Che and Stewart OUT

Our squad is not that good to drop anyone else.

Leave largely as is. See if we can get some form up with current group. Maybe try and find a spot for Amon and/or any young player showing some form.
Stewart to go. Keep Impey in the backline please. Give Ah Chee another go.

dropping ahchee now just puts us back in the same bullshit roller coaster of fiddling with the last 3 selected.
you have to give him a chance to respond and see whether it is worth putting a line through his name or not.
it isn't like Wingard and Wines never had a shocker.

Doesn't really matter who we bring in now. Season is over and we will continue to do the same crap no matter the personnel.

I think it's time for Neade to go. Zero goals from the last two games. He works hard but he needs to apply some score-board pressure.

He's missing a quality most of the better small forwards possess - real speed. He got caught a couple of times today and there've been other examples during the year. A small forward without real speed needs to have other weapons, and I can't see what they are. I don't think he's the answer to our small forward problem.

I'm a fan of Ah Chee but it is Etihad and we need more run Karlos for Ah Chee. I thought that before the Crows game.
It's not about Ah Chees game today it just seems right.

Would like to see Palmer or Austin get a look for Stewart or Neade. To be out of the running for finals and not get game time into these guys is wasting the season.

Don't think any changes will make a difference. The team isn't clicking together and different players are playing well one week and poorly the next.

Take Hombsch today - not the best day to lower his colours albeit against an avalanche of clean footy coming in to Walker.

I hope they keep in Clurey.

You could make a case that Neade and AhChee didn't take their chances today but on the other hand you have Monfries who has struggled for much of the past month and still gets picked.

Any changes will be meaningless really. Let the team settle down now that the year is done and hopefully allow Clurey and AhChee to start building experience.

Can we bring in Redden for Lobbe? Not really. Just have to accept that 2015 was a year in which our rucks never got their act together for two weeks in a row.

it isn't like Wingard and Wines never had a shocker.

These are the things I look for when I'm looking at changes:

-Did they play their role - no
-Did they get a lot of the ball for their time on ground - no
-Does their ball use/tackles/one percenters make up for their limited disposal- no
-Did they lay sufficient tackles for their position - no
-Did they beat their direct opponent - didn't really have one as he played as a mid

What's there for him to respond to, he's had one half decent game against the swans and used as a sub where he brought energy. That's all that he is a sub option. You can't even put him in that league of wingard and wines. I don't recall them ever being subbed off due to only having 5 disposals nor do I recall such frequent use of sub and being on the fringe for any time in their career. A better comparison would be young due to their similar draft position, capabilities and being a fringe type of player. Obviously young has played more games but was dropped after the eagles game despite recording 11 possessions, there was no support for him the way you are with ah chee. At least Young had shown more earlier in his career and had been tearing the sanfl up more than ah chee.

Ebert out. His disposal is costing us huge momentum. Very poor from such a senior player.

Ah Chee back to sub, Young in for full game.

Stewart out, doesn't offer enough.

I'd love for Ebert to turn around his post round 5 slump, but Ken will never drop him. Brad has this Weathoff-like knack of starting seasons off in a blaze of great form and then struggling through the middle ten rounds. He tries his guts out, but his kicking turnovers kill us. Yet today there were at least three teammates who burnt the footy far worse than him.

Can't drop them all. Might as well persevere with them now that 2015 is over in terms of Finals.

Been tinkering at the edges with this team all year. Isn't that what a preseason is for?

As by and large it isn't the edges that are the problem, the changes this week are irrelevant. It's up to the 22 on the park to play accountable four quarter footy.

I would take out those guys who aren't going to feature next year, and get a look at some who might. Would be a shame not to salvage something from a poor season. I'd persist with Ah Chee and Amon.
