Ebert is lucky that nobody is standing up to replace him, and Ah Chee deserves another week. He could have been ill, slightly injured, anything could have lead to one underwhelming game. I would leave Neade in for now as well because although he made a few errors, he looks extremely dangerous at times and may just need the game time to catch up to the speed of AFL level. Other than that, figure out how make our game plan effective before the season is out please!

May as well just put all their names in a hat and draw 3-4 on any given week.

We should be looking to debut Harvey, Palmer or DBJ.

Tired of seeing fringe player musical chairs. Ah Chee has real x factor about him and I'd like to see him backed in. Being in and out hurts fringe youth. Look at Moore.

I reckon there are two sides to this gold pass syndrome often talked about.

On one hand, a player is retained -via forum opinion - with a gold pass. Unless a player has earned the right to be promoted but given a game, isn't that also a gold pass - or put another way, gifted a game.

Prematurely promoting a player can also backfire. Still can't believe Reddo - game #2.

How do you define 'blooding players' - earned or let's give them a go?

I think Ken will shape his future at Port with his selections from now on. With the season over we will get to see what vision he will present with his selections and the way he will groom this side. He has a seriously difficult job imo.

Not sure about that.... seen nothing this year to make me think he will, hope he does!

I'm sick of Brad Ebert and his horrible kicking. The problem this team has is giving the ball up when there are obvious options, and Ebert is the worst offender by far. I don't care how many great marks you take, or how much you run. If you kick the ball to the opposition half the time, or play on just to run into the man on the mark for absolutely no reason you aren't helping anyone. If Pittard played the same game as Ebert there would be about 4 threads begging for him to be delisted.

I still don't think he will ever be dropped, but **** me start him on the bench or something.

I'd like to see Jasper back in, maybe Sammy Colquhoun or Sam Gray (the midfielder, not the small forward). I think Ah Chee will be dropped, along with whoever else. I don't want to see Neade dropped.

Achee has shown some promise???
Is it fair to say he is just another Tom Logan???
No offence to Tom he has played a good role at Port shown a lot of guts and endeavor but skill level is poor.
From what ive seen of Achee he is much like Logan.
