Given JOD's foot / ankle, you'd think he would have been the one to make way for Buss not Jones. I would have thought having Jones next to Buss would help rather than 2 very inexperienced backs.

I don't mind Baker in the team. If hes the sub, thats not terrible. I don't understand dropping Davidson for him though given he had made the wing his own prior to be moved around.

I mean that is purely an MC decision. There are plenty of other options. It’s not a list issue.

If you’re going to play Baker, why not debut Jacques who has played in a similar position? The end result of no material impact on the game is going to be the same.

Baker is no good if you wanted an older player then Scott is at least in form

Poulter offers the same amount defensively as Buku with less marking and no goals

Perfect week to debut a Sellwood or Jacques i can almost guarantee we get one next week and they’re matched up on Toby Greene

I think Baker is being played as the "impact sub", pace off the bench to inject into the 4th quarter, but yeah if he isn't as is starting on a wing i'm not happy with the selection either and we've been there and done that with Baker. Only role that makes sense for me is the sub.

Well scratch that theory...
