Apparently Jones and Davidson missed the captains run

Anyone know how many more games Bont can miss and still be eligible for AA?

There isn't a strict eligibility for this - though generally those deciding the team don't consider players that have played fewer than 16 games, is my recollection.

If you had to pick a one on one defender that had to miss (so either Jones or JOD) then it had to be Jones. He's been so good for us since he returned to the club but I think father time has well and truly hit the great man.

Poor Jonesy, was hoping they would give him one more chance to back up at least and rest JOD, but I think they have made their call on him. Good for Buss earning another run in the team, hope he sticks till the end of the year.

Interesting. Never going to be disappointed by giving Buss a run

Seems like they may have given up on Jones being an option going forward. Not sure what happens if Buss struggles, don't think they can go back to the small setup

Hopefully Buss gets an extended run to earn his spot

Bit rough on Davidson given we have barely played him on a wing lately and have been using him as a third tall forward. Yet now drop him for a wing/half back in Baker
