Yes. 2 goals, one on fifty the other 60 out and both unmanned with our boys looking left and right as to whos opponent he was.

had a look at Rnd 1 last nite, good game, a few of our youngsters got caught in the headlites
wot was interesting was Harpers game, actually in the play a lot why cant he do this more often
u can also see why Azza will struggle to get a spot again

ESSENDON
As seems to be the case every week, Essendon must again deal with the fallout from some soft-tissue injuries this week. Jason Winderlich and Ben Howlett went down with hamstring injuries in last week's loss to the Crows and seem set to miss a number of weeks with the strains. At least the Bombers appear to have a few players ready to return. Dustin Fletcher and Stewart Crameri should come back into the side to bolster the Bombers' backline and attack respectively, while Michael Hibberd, Angus Monfries, Brent Stanton and David Myers are all getting closer to senior selection. However, Paddy Ryder (calf) and David Zaharakis (quad) might still be some weeks away.

NORTH MELBOURNE
Leigh Adams was a late withdrawal last round but should come straight back into North's team against Essendon if he has recovered from the left shoulder injury he suffered against Melbourne in round 18. That aside, North is unlikely to make many changes. Tall defenders Luke and Cameron Delaney were the Roos' most impressive performers in North Ballarat's loss to Geelong's VFL team last Sunday, but face a tough task to break into North's settled defence. Meanwhile, midfielder Levi Greenwood continued his good recent form as Werribee's best player in its Foxtel Cup Grand Final loss to Claremont last Thursday

Any outside chance Azza will come in, so we have the flexibility to send Lachie back to cover Gumbles? Not sure if Thommo can cover Gumby's height, and we may need him to go to Crameri. Thoughts?

don't mind that idea, azza plays well at etihad which is a bonus but i'm not sure we would make more than the one change of adams in.
