I could live with those changes but the Dog's VFL team has got the wood on our VFL team so unfortunately we'll have to leave the team pretty much unchanged

I love his heart, aggression ect... but he has been cut up last 2 games and all preseason, doesn't have an offensive game(at AFL level) and makes too many mistakes for a guy who only gets 5-7 possessions.

Anyone else impressed that we now have servicable cover in the KPD position?! Astbury and grimes aren't world beaters, but handy players who can fill a defensive position.

Two years ago, in the days before chappy, the thought of Rance being out for three weeks would have meant Jayden Post

Not understanding foley as the sub he comes in gets touches but no impact. Would like to see Lloyd have a crack at sub.

We are getting opened up through the middle quicker than we did last year. Game seems to be becoming less contested and more outside. Maybe the era of the skinny flanker....Terry Wallet ahead of his time.

Dropping Morris is silly. How many defenders could have stopped Garlett or Yarran last night? They played the games of their lives.
Yarran plays to his potential like that maybe once a year and we just happened to cop it.

Yep; I just watched the replay and I believe that Morris was the least of our worries. He laid a few good bumps and hassled the ball carrier. Without him we really don't have much aggression down there.

Astbury played well also. Given Rance is out I wouldn't make any changes to the backline against the Dogs.

I think if we were to judge who to pick/drop on the last quarter alone we might need to swap the VFL team with our firsts...

If Jacko is fit and firing to go, he might take either Foley's spot or maybe Newy's. Just a structural thing.
