Absolutely got us. For 12 hours we thought Nathan Vardy or Mark Hutchings were coming back and felt deeply depressed about the prospect of watching our favourite team this weekend.

What a result!
It did, but it got us on 31 Mar. Not quite April Fool's day.

Ben Brown out. Officially health and safety protocol. A close contact. Demons don’t think anyone else affected but held coaching meetings over zoom earlier in the week. Weideman in for his first game since Round 13 last year. With

Seems like the close contact thing is the same over east?>

McGowan is all-powerful.

In: Hedwards, Rotham, Nelson, Redden, Gaff, Naitanui, Dixon, Kennedy, Waterman, Jones, Langdon, Hough (sub)
Out: Jamieson, Dewar, Duggan, Mountford, Giro, Williams, Williams, Rioli, Shuey, Black, Ainsworth, Ledwards (sub)

Backs: Edwards, Gov, Rotham, Hurn, Witherden, Foley, Nelson
Mids: Kelly, Redden, Gaff, Naish, SPS, XON
Rucks: NicNat, Dixon
Forwards: Kennedy, Darling, Waterman, Ryan, Jones, Petch, Langdon
Sub: Hough
Emergencies: West, Ledwards, Jamieson
Potentially available: Winder, top-ups

Looks OK apart from the ruck support being thin, but not much in reserve when (not if) more players get ruled out.

Any news on Chesser? Heard zilch. Is he still in WA or is he back in Vic? Is he walking laps yet? Anybody know anything?

I just want to win a ******* game.
I just want us to have a fair chance at a game, turning up with a half-way decent team. At this stage, we have no idea if our squad is good or will be finishing bottom 4, as we haven't had a chance to see them play!

Trying to reverse engineer the 28 who trained:

Ryan, Waterman, Gaff, Langdon, Redden, Naitanui, SPS, Kelly, Ledwards, Kennedy, Hough, McGovern, Petch, Winder, Witherden, XON, Hurn, Trew, Darling, Foley, Nelson, Jones, Jilliams, Rotham, West, Jamieson, Dixon, Hedwards, Naish

That’s 29, so one mystery player is missing.

Edit: Jilliams according to Steve Allen.

Can Angus Schumacher play his second game for the club her debuted against for carlton like Mountford last week.?? His highlights on afl.com from that game actually look good and include a dont argue on our well known hard man Petch

Mark Hutchings to tag Brayshaw and keep him to 12 possessions.
