Certainly brought up an interesting point, because on one hand, Tom McDonald is only 20, maybe 21 and is defending in a horrid team, and though is in poor form it's relatively clear that he's going to play a major role in defence for many years to come. On the other hand you've got Sellar, who isn't really doing much wrong, and is playing his role reasonably well. You can't drop Frawley, and Garland is in career best form, quite burdensome if i say so myself.Never thought I'd say this but I would rather Sellar down back than McDonald at the minute. McDonald has been smashed this season, while Sellar is handy down back. McDonald might struggle to get his spot back.

Forgive the intrusion, thought your boys played well today. Really rate a few of your new players, particularly Terlich who has been a great pick up for you. Do you think Viney will be back this week?
No flipping idea re: viney. We are all wondering.
Imagine that, three midfielders! Looks like Viney might have some turf toe.Really wanted to see Jones, Magner and Viney all playing together
His name's Mitch Clark, he should sound familiar, after all, not luring him may well cost you a premiership.
Tough call on Jetta.
Agree he wasnt in our best but along with Tappy was among our most physical.Physical needs to be our priority.
Agree with this. His kicking is ordinary, but he isn't afraid to throw his weight around he seems to be a very popular player within the team.I'd be very hesitant in dropping Gawn. Think he's a good presence in the forward line and also very good for team spirit.
Been eyeing this game off for awhile now. This has the potential for a real smacking. Luckily for us Pavlich and Sandilands are out, Hill could possibly miss and Walters who is in great form has now gone down injured. Not to mention Griffin and Bradley being out long term for them as well. But I still fear the worst. Freo have a fantastic ability to shut down scoring. We could be looking at no more than 4 or 5 goals in this game if we continue to enter the F50 30 odd times a match. Mundy, Mayne, Fyfe, Barlow, Pearce, Ballantyne should prove tough to handle.
ah yes, kids + game experience = success, aka the Bailey modelWhy play Byrnes, even if he kicks 20 goals for the year it doesn't matter, all it's doing is stopping development of a kid on list.
It's been a disgraceful decision picking up tried players when we have kids on list who are similar heights etc who need games. We would be better off with 5 other kids on our list right now. Gillies, Peterson, Rodan, Byrnes will take us a
NOWHERE.
As for this weekend we are the turnover kings, we put it in the TIgers laps time and time again, on the longer deck this week good luck. Not being able to kick 25m to targets at this level is a disgrace.
We had ample footy to hurt tigers and couldn't make the pill land on the vast spaces of the G
of those 4 would keep tappy in the squad . The more big bodies the better^^ exactly agree until one of blease/tappy/taggert/tynan etc is a better player than Byrnes no point playing them
