Sam Gray is not our best option up forward. If the position is a fwd rotating occasionally into the middle then I'd rather see a genuine forward play.

This is and always will be Sam Gray's problem. He's really good at one thing, winning the contested ball. When the machine breaks down, he breaks down. He plays as a ball winning midfielder or he doesn't play because frankly he isn't good at anything else. It's the same with Lobbe. If Lobbe's getting pantsed in the ruck and offering nothing around the ground your hands are tied because he's not good enough to rest up forward. It becomes a wasted spot in the team someone else could be filling..

Reward the team effort by keeping it the same, no changes needed.

Everyone's safe except for maybe SGray. Possibly Impey in.

I thought Nasar Housain did great down back and should retain his spot.

Took me a few seconds then, Nasser Hussain. :D

I'd keep Sam Gray in. Was poo the first half , especially disposal but improved as the game wore on and has enough points from me from the JLT to get another shot. Would like to see better against Freo than today to get a Showdown gig though.

No changes.

I'd go unchanged.

SGray had some disappointing disposals but his work rate and body over the ball stuff was top notch. Deserves to hold his spot.

What does anyone bring your the game that wasn't there today. Imp and Krak are not superstars not top ten players. They don't demand selection.

Say What! Maybe not top 10, but surely in the best 22.....

Krak for Hoff...
Imp for S.Gray...

I really like Jonas but we would be a better side if he could add to his lock down role with a bit of good decision making and skill execution to match.
For that reason I see him vulnerable to being replaced by a good ball user if the opposition is shorter.
What a great problem to have, looking for improvement after a good win!

I could see Impey or Monfries coming into the team.

My buddy Sam Gray is probably one of the first players out, his size really hurts him sometimes - like when his team mates aim the ball over his head. I thought he was pretty handy, but 9 clangers is going to hurt his case for sure.

I'd be happy to see no changes though, as that was a brilliant performance.
He plays a simple game, win ball and kick forward... I noticed quite a few times he won the ball on the wing and there was nobody down the line to kick to.. So he kicked it straight to a Sydney player, or out of bounds...

He wins the ball really well, just need to ensure there is someone down the line for him

S. Gray out
Impey in

Impey is better at that role. Would love to see Krak back too just not sure who to remove for him. Is Austin available because I think we must persist with him too? Again not sure who to remove to make way for him tho

Some genuine competition for roles now which is great

Sam gray worked really hard but his disposal was a problem. Also his fumbling when trying to collect the ball under pressure was pretty frustrating. You wouldn't expect to much in the way of changes after such a great win however.

I think we can forgive the fumbling in those conditions.

To be honest, I was more concerned re Robbie Gray than Westhoff today.
Whilst we all recognise that Robbie hasn't had the best lead up to this game, his body language/attitude smacked of sheer frustration.
Kinda thought that a more team aware and positive mindset would have been more helpful, especially with all the younger players and debutants.
Am I being harsh? He's a fantastic player and one of my favourites.
My bold
imo Robbie was concussed with the head knock early in the game. His awareness was shot afterwards and frankly he looked
like he was chasing shadows. Naturally the club would deny it but it clearly affected his game.

Jonas was excellent yesterday. Was on Kennedy for a while and he had no where near the influence he normally does.

Keep Eddy for sure. Can't gauge him from a game at the SCG. He couldn't find space to lead. He'll tear it apart at Adelaide Oval.
Agree with most on here that he needs a few weeks to show what he has got and yesterday's conditions didn't help his cause but he looked a little off the pace in terms of decision making.

Yeah, I'm on the no change bandwagon too. You can't make changes after an all played well, committed team performance like that.
Bullshit on this in general. We spend the pre-season lamenting how soft we've been recently and how everyone needs to get ruthless. How we're in this predicament because we didn't make the ruthless calls on our list, giving overlong contracts, not trading 'popular guys' and keeping guys around for too long. Now we've had a brilliant away victory against the odds and the club should be celebrating.

It wasn't all played well. The coaches though should be looking at next week, looking at our list and making decisions about Fremantle based on match ups and form, not 'give them a round 2 participation award based on round 1'. It's that sort of love in, no one can be criticised group think that proliferated TPFP and will hold us back from a real climb up the ladder, if it gets / stays at the club, to being a contender, rather than sneaking into the finals every now and then, but not going all the way.

anyone who wants Impey in has rocks in their head, he has one thing going for him and that is his speed, apart from that he generally butchers the ball and doesnt get enough of it. I hope Jasper will be ready and if so id have to drop houston for him, I also really want Atley in the team but i dont trust him to play 4 quarters of AFL, give him 2 weeks in the SANFL and if he's good enough then he takes S Grays place
