Who else would you tag- Palmer won't be playing (bound to be rested as he needs a rest). Honestly they have no-one worth tagging except maybe Carr who has decent disposals.

I didn't realise Rama played, my apologies. Well in that case, bring Mal Michael in. Reason is someone has to mark Pavlich and Fletcher would not be a great matchup to be dead honest.

Why in the world would Freo rest Palmer with a weeks rest the following week?

Fletcher will be a perfect match for Pav. Freo have consistently sat it on Pav's head all year, and that's Dustin's greatest strength.

Dyson for Slattery shapes as the most likely move, Tayte Pears, if fit, would be a possibility.

Unless there's a training injury, there'll only be one change.

Palmer will be RESTED, not dropped. He seems tired to be honest and like all first year players a rest would not hurt him. Apart from Carr who else, Ibbotson possibly I guess. And who else would play on Pavlich, Fletcher would not work, Ryder no, he'd be better on Tarrant.

I don't think Palmer will be rested...9 day break and then a week off already...

I thought Leeroy played his best game for the year today - esp first half. Layed a goal saving tackle in the 2nd quarter -only problem was it spilled to Carlton player and kicked a goal. He is slowly getting better and it would be a massive injustice to drop him with a little bit of momentum going his way.

No changes unless Slats does not come up - which would be strong possibility I think

And it was him that coughed it up in the first place.

Carlton started delivering the ball better to Fev when our midfield loosened up; Jetta was the leader here....

Agreed though, he was improved on recent weeks, and especially wit hhte game in his home town, he plays again, but I cringe every time I see him defensive side of the middle....

OUT - Slattery
IN - Hislop or Dyson. Leaning towards giving Dyson another go to see if he's developed a hunger for league footy yet....

Yeah, I happen to agree on both Jetta and Dyson... I do however have faith in Jetta, he's probably 2-3 years off being a star!!!

should be an easy game for us to exploit.

Hille is strong enough to cause Sandilands problems. Laycock is tall enough to compete.

Welsh to Ibbotson. that kid can find it and use it nicely.

Fletch on Pav with a player dropping back to double team

biggest problems:
Farmer. getting very dangerous around goal.
Crowley. could very easily cramp Stanton.
Hayden. very good rebounding backman. if only we had davey available

Out: Slattery
In: Dyson/Pev either go for a lot of run or get someone who can negate their counterattack.

Farmer could be the real problem, we dont have any obviouse player for him, maybe mark johnson.... Oh wait:eek:

IMO our midfeild will go quite well against them, they dont have anybody outstanding and not many of their midfeild types use it all that well.

Essendon v Carlton. His an absolute dud worse than Eddie Betts. No skill and no heart

The same Eddie Betts who got three clearances in a row late in the thrid quarter that got got Carlton within 24 points.

Looks like the seats are filling up fast on bombersno1's bus for the football challenged minds ......

The best replacement for Slattery would be Pevrill wouldn't it...

Houli, obviously doesn't seem to be coming in this week ATM.

This could be Pevs last chance to prove himself. It'd be the most ideal change for this weeks lineup.

In: Atkinson
Out: Slatts

Atkinson had a good game against the roosters and is an ideal replacement, Small/Mid defender for Small/Mid defender.

Houli and Pears won't be available this week.

I expect Hislop to come back via Bendigo, unless they decide to give him a role playing small back.

Subi should suit Dyson, Dyson for Slattery the only change IMO.
