Pretty sure we did
Thought the line being peddled around here was that we agreed to take over his 3-year contract, noting that he had already completed the first year of it with Richmond. That would mean that he's out of contract at the end of 2012 and ripe for delisting.

Bloody hope so

That's a very strong team we've named this week. Porplyzia <--> Riley is probably the only change we'd need to make for it to be our best 22.

Would I be right in saying if we lose this game, we shouldnt be playing finals or rather our chances in the finals are screwed!?

This is the type of game a good team wins!

If we can't beat Fremantle at home, it certainly wouldn't seem likely that we'd beat anybody good in Melbourne.

To me this is a must win game, more so than the remaining ones after this.

This is a team in form and with some momentum to beat them would hold us in good stead for finals.

The remainder of the games, I could see us dropping one of them, if anything because out of a lack of interest or importance!

Winning this game is crucial to our psyche and our last big test before Week 1 of finals !!!!!!!!!

Who drops out to make way for him? I'm a fan of Henderson as well, but with everyone fit he's just outside the best 22 (would make the emergency list though).
Well there few that need to find some form again like Callinan -- Stiffy and then a few coaches favourites that need to show a bit more in Pets and Doughty though think pretty safe.
Jenkins another that think important to team but if Kurt back form and with confidence might just get squeezed out .

Its tough... With Jenkins AND Tippett in the side theres no room, but if Jenkins doesnt play and Tip plays relief ruck, Henderson gets a game imo.

I honestly think Henderson will be best 22 next year. Looks as if he is going to be a great utility player to swing up front and back, sort of in the Goddard mold but not as good lol. Jenkins/Smack will come in and out of the side depending on the opposition and weather.

Tippett out and Johnston in.

I find it a bit weird. VB said in his presser he trained well and if he pulled up ok tomorrow he would be in. What's happened within that 30mins-1hour to make him a withdrawal?

Apparently vB went straight from training into the presser so didn't know.

But surely he would have looked iffy at training if he was going to miss. He must have felt light headed or dizzy afterwards.

I was under the impression that he still had to pass a test with the medical staff today? My guess would be that he failed that test, or they're just being ultra cautious.
