Out with a broken arm I think.

Looks to be out of the cast (certainly the sling), was joining in main training tonight with the rest of the group.

Source? My own eyes, watching vision on AFL 360 and the 6pm news.

EDIT: Here we go, pictorial proof from the club itself (right of frame):

Bucks has steadfastly avoided dropping the "injury" excuse in any of the media I've heard him do, it's we supporters who suggest it's a factor.
This week's Bucks Brief was all about injuries.

Eddie at the womens launch responded to questions about our form by blaming injuries.

Then Gary Pert goes on the Pies website and talks for 8 minutes about injuries.

It's a common theme alright, but it's only been the last week or two that it's been used by the club.

Our injuries are no worse than plenty of other sides doing much better. We are garbage sooner people realise that the better.

Who i would play...

Aish - Apparently this kid can play. give him a chance and hope to have a shining light out of the season
Cloke - 1 way or another him getting any glimmer of form will help us at the trade table or on the field.
Broomhead - Taken pick 20 obviously they thought he had talent. Well give him a decent run at it when he is over his injury

and That tells me Bucks won't get Sacked as They will just use the Injury Excuse Card

Intresting to Read Moore is back to Full Training.

So could he come in for Witts

The Jake Niall article in the Holden thread says he'll be back next week, to face a Blues team of either variety...

Sad when you have higher expectations of certain posters....

Injuries aren't THE reason, they're A reason. As is relative youth. As is relative (in)experience. As is relative team stability and capacity to maximise the output of the relatively inexperienced kid added to the team. As is relative leadership. As is the "who" is injured and their relative value to the team....

For the record, despite the relatively similar injury profiles, Collingwood last game were average age of 24 years 0 months, Freo last game were 25-7, Pies average games 62.3, Freo 105.4. Even then our age profile is skewed because we've got a 25yo international rookie playing his 8th game.

Can you please tell us the average age a few weeks ago against the Cats?

Plus a couple of the assistant coaches won't pass muster during the Seasons review...
They didn't fully implement or properly convey Bucks plans/instructions, hence there was a communication GAP, that must be addressed over the summer...
I think Bucks will survive another season, because he is Bucks...

If it is as wet as they are predicting, we obviously have to go in shorter.

I'd drop Cox and Witts, and play Cloke and Howe forward...with White back up ruck.

Cloke was terrific in the wet in the VFL and had a real influence. If he replicates that sort of form then he is an essential inclusion.

If weather is dry, then I'd play Cox as Freo are undermanned down back and would like to keep trialling a forward line with Cloke and Cox.

Because he's an average skilled plodder.

Big call early on in his career he is averaging 20 possessions, nearly 4 marks per game and has a free for and against ratio of 5-1 in a backline which has been all over the shop. You don't need 22 stars in a team I think his skill level at this point in his playing career is fine and I don't understand how you can say he is a plodder.

Sorry, I don't understand what you are saying.
Are you saying the club boot studder can teach them?

I'm saying that we already have 2x ruck coaches and I'm yet to hear anyone definitively say that they aren't doing a great job based on anything more than a stirring in their tea leaves. Or confirm exactly how some new addition to the coaching panel would in any way enhance the ruck training.

Pies 24-4 & 78.5 games, Cats 25-11 and 114.6 games.

Play Aish as well as he Dominated in the Wet down at Casey Fields

He's a Plodder because he's slow. Possession counts don't change that. He's skills aren't terrible, but they're not great. His skills average. I don't mind him getting games because he tries his hard out and doesn't have too many weaknesses but he doesn't have a great strength or a point of difference.

Your last sentence is fine by me, I think you need players like Smith dependable reliable in a team even if they are not standouts

Sorry, but describing Rocca as a ruck coach is laughable.
On the other hand, Rendell might well do it as well as anyone can - he had a very strong career, after all, but he's going out there at training for 10 or 15 minutes once in a while.
You could argue that he may be doing video etc with them, but given his senior role in recruiting, that seems unlikely or even ill-advised.
I would've thought that an actual ruck specialist in a full-time role is exactly what Grundy, Witts and Cox need right now.

Happily agree to disagree. Rocca was a very good ruckman, just didn't have a tank for the role. Likely he offered more at CHF anyway.

And I may be wrong but I'm not aware of any club that has a full-time ruck coaching specialist. Happy for you to show me the error of my ways.

And please enlighten me how much specific ruck coaching other clubs do.
