What garbage. I assure you Anthony Rocca is many things, but a ruck coach he isn't! I would encourage the club to keep him on moving forward, but it's imperative we find someone skilled in the art of ruck coaching to fill the role of ruck coach in 2017.

FWIW Greg Stafford at the Dees, Matthew Clarke at Adelaide, Alex Ishencko at North and Stephen Taubert at Sydney off the top of my head are full time specialist ruck coaches. Your statement would have been almost 100% more accurate if you said we're the only club without a specialist ruck coach. In truth I'm staggered to actually read comments that a full time specialist isn't an absolute priority...

Oh and the injury excuse has well exceeded it's used by date and is now just embarrassing, IMO!
Also Monkhurst at Hawthorn working with Johnny Cegs.

Moore won't be back for a few weeks. Cox White Cloke Grundy should be the ruck/tall forward on Friday.

Your probably right but Buckley's done stranger things.

Thanks for setting me on the right path. Here I was thinking having Adams, Fasolo, Moore, Elliott, Swan, Langdon, Ramsay, Scharenberg and Broomhead unavailable was still going to be an issue given we also had Brown, Goldsack, Wills and Gault only recently returned after injury. I'll do better to attune myself to this brave new reality. I'll also get on board and start advocating that we start playing these name players who for the most part are either returning from injury or whom have been demoted for form reasons, or both, just on name rather than playing people on form, because that'll fix everything.
Scharenberg has played 4 very ordinary games, Ramsay's played 7 and you include their absence on the injury list as some kind of huge team tragedy that is holding us back. Moore gets 8 touches a game at the moment, Broomhead is not best 22 and a soft fringe player, Langdon is not best 22 yet either and depth. As I said, we've got 4 certain best 22 players injured. Have a look at the injury lists for other clubs. Then get back to me if you still think it's a valid excuse to be using at the moment.

Pretty simple way of looking at it. Sharenberg if uninjured and 40 games in is not a 4 ordinary game player. Same with broomy Moore already ripped a hammy now his shoulder. Put 15 more games into them different players Ramsey important rebound player gone. Injuries kill momentum for both player and club and in the pies case coach aswell. Injury is never a excuse it's fact. How come no violins out when ross lyon was crying about Freos injuries, the pies aren't even using the injury excesses and getting smashed for the results to date. Seems media opposition fans and a large section of pies fans are enjoying the hole we are in. Shit has to change maybe fitness maybe coaching staff something will give soon enough. I hope there's enough common sense and wisdom when it all goes down.

I keep forgetting there is a game on tomorrow.

I keep forgetting that there's still 10 games to go.

FWIW I'd like to see Cloke, Brown & Jimmy Aish back in this week.

Does anyone think Macaffer is any chance? Against a Freo side in crappy conditions I think he could be useful.

Confirmed.

In- Cloke, Aish, Brown
Out- Witts, Phillips, Frost

I'm actually happy with that.

Haha.. 1 game for Phillips.. pathetic!..

Was actually serviceable, 15 touches..
Great message to send the kids.

Crocker has had 2 sub 8 touch games in a row and has kicked 1 goal in the last 3 games.

Nice to see Aish in.

Where did people get who was out?

We have media confirmation via Buckley

Cloke, Brown, Aish in.

Note: if weather gets ugly late changes could happen

If it's correct, then Phillips would be unlucky, but I imagine someone must go out for Aish.

Separately I'd punt Blair, but that's being silly isn't it?
