I'm not too worried playing too many kids, i'd rather lose to Freo knowing we're developing kids in the 22 rather than playing our usual 22 and losing horribly.

Just thought that because nearly every ruckman gets monstered by Sandilands in the ruck and for a first gamer to go up against him. Would take a monster effort from big Macca.
Hmm a good point. Sandilands rarely taps to his mids, or rather his mids are shithouse, so I wouldn't be overly concerned if McEvoy doesn't get a hitout. It wouldn't his confidence much good though...Just thought that because nearly every ruckman gets monstered by Sandilands in the ruck and for a first gamer to go up against him. Reputations really count for nothing, particularly when you're five-seven and you've won one out of five. It's not about personalities or past performance. It's what you're putting up week-in, week-out and we'll really reward and encourage those who do what we want. Those who don't will have to go back and develop the habits we're looking for and create an opportunity for themselves.
If we were closer to the bottom of the ladder we would be accused of tanking for this.
It is called "Player management"...
