Bring in Webberly for no brains White.
Derickx added nothing in the ruck... Big Ivan looks to be getting very tired, we need someone who can actualy compete in the ruck for a decent amount of time. Last thing I want to see is Ivan going down injured.

Ins: Graham & Webberly
Out: Derickx & White

...
O'Hanlon in comparison was playing his first full game and looked totally out of his depth. D-Rex was on debut and his WAFL experience and maturity as a 24 year old shone through - was completly different to Elton's debut the week before.
...
I'm not saying that Maric (or O'Hanlon for that matter) did enough to warrent another game, and they will probably be the two that make way once Jackson and Martin return, but with no suitable replacements waiting for a call up they should be backed in!
O'Hanlon had a really bad first quarter/half but to his credit he came out and performed pretty well based on his experience for the rest of the game.

And for you other guys saying Dea out, seriously? Did he steal your girlfriend or something?

Its thundering in Cairns on saturday. Of course. Perfect day against the cats last week but of course when the tigers rock up the footy gods come down upon us.

X needs another chance ffs

Agree with you CT, Webberley to come in for White with no other changes at this stage.

If Griff doesn't pull up from his injury scare, I'd probably bring in Post (not sure if Moore is 100% ready for AFL football just yet - though being the sub against GC wouldn't be a bad way for him to ease back into it).

The rest can stay as is (geez, the cupboard is empty at the moment!)

Graham? Oh god..

Although in your opinion Deryx offered NOTHING, fact is he's a beautiful & accurate kick.
Bit harsh on a first gammer.
Webberley from what l recal, was one of the first players to be labelled as a "super sub", for his hard running, creating & kicking goals in the last quarter.
Boy White has missed out on a HUGE OPPORTUNITY, to make a mark and cement a place in the side....

You missed the key reason X came in rather than Graham. X can actually play forward and back. Gus can really only play first ruck, the only way he could come in is if Maric is injured OR, if Maric could play forward or back. Thought X competed reasonably well in the ruck, so as a foil for Maric, I think he's the only option currently (or maybe Post?).

After watching the replay of last weeks game:
Positives:
  • Offensive run from Dea (something I haven't seen)
  • Ellis, Conca and White all winning their own ball.
  • Cotchin, Tuck, Deledio, Grigg, Newman, Ivan all standing up in a week of turmoil.
  • Alex Rance
  • Luke McGuane
  • Tom Derickx
  • Jack presented well, Robbie was outstanding, Titch played well
  • Steven Morris, Bachar Houli
Negatives:
  • Jake Batchelor (hasn't had the best month)
  • Abysmal shots on goal
  • Brett O'Hanlon and Addam Maric, but they need games, and game time respectively.

Griffiths too needs time, but did his job.

Isn't it amazing how the tide has turned in the past couple of weeks!
Before Foley and King's injury and subsequent suspension of Martin, Jackson and to a lesser extent White, we basically had a bevvy of onballers to choose from, whereas now the tide has turned with the pending availability of taller KPP such as McGuane, Moore and Astbury.
Interesting times ahead, I say!!!

Was with a Richmond player last night whom told me Moore could possibly play (hes looking reall good on the track), also of note he claimed Astbury should be back as a Key Forward spot.

Who said there was no such thing as common sense anymore?:D

Dimma's article in the Herald Sun today just made me realise how proud I am that i support the Richmond footy club. He is the best thing to happen to this club in a long long long time. Also very happy for Kel Moore, just an amazing story for the guy. And to top it off is a top bloke as well. Good work.

If Moore is an in, you would suspect that they must be looking to be extra cautious with Griff and rest him given his niggle on the weekend
