Will wait until after the Coburg game to put forward my opinion but I doubt Wallace will go with as many changes this week as he did last week.

it's a tough call, we're resigned to accepting another belting this week possibly a huge one ala the first time round. do we continue to play the kids and let them see where the benchmark currently is, risking a complete humiliation or bring in the older blokes to weather the storm?

People seem to operate under the impression that there is an endless well of talent that Wallace is stubbornly refusing to dip into.

We have 12 fit players who weren't selected this week.

Casserley and Petterson have been hampered by injuries and will be best served by getting some gametime (and some finals games) with Coburg.

Pat Bowden is on the comeback trail from injury himself.

Graham is simply ordinary at best.

That only really leaves Hyde, Jackson, Tivendale, Schulz, Kingsley, White, Howat and Oakley-Nicholls.

To get all the players out of the team that people seem to want we'd have to play with 15 blokes against Geelong.

I hope this is the first change:

IN: Angus Graham

OUT: Troy Simmonds/Adam Pattison

Then JON to come in 2nd. I guess Tivendale will be in too and I hope Schulz comes in without dropping Jack or Cleve (maybe we could try the box formation Hawthorn use?)

One change for next week will be.

In: Schulz

Out: Jack

I dont want it to be but I'm pretty certain it'll happen. :(

If a forward goes out it should be Richo he was shocking last night. Bring in Pat Bowden and play keepings off with his brother so we only get beat by 15 goals this time:thumbsu:

is simmonds injured or did he just have a bad game? It would be rough to have graham take on ottens and blake. Btw where did graham come from?

Richmond Changes

OUT: Wallace

IN: Sheedy

At least if we sack our coach we'll win 1 more game this year. And besides, i'm over Wallace.

Need a motivator and mentor.

ive heard simmo is injured so graham is likely to come in
casserly will play in the next couple of weeks and wouldnt mind seeing JON play senirs

Was in Geelong on weekend, caught a taxi to a 21st. Cab driver was listening to Geelong vs Freo and turned radio up for club song at the end of the game. I said the Cats would be shyting themselves over next week.

He laughed. I was most upset

I think I've said this before, but we should play Schulz in defence. He's got a strong body, so he could develop into a good CHB/FB if he was given the chance.
One player they should definitely take out is Kelvin Moore.

My changes

OUT:
Moore: No point playing someone who will be delisted at seasons end
Krakouer: See Moore
(Simmonds): Only if he is injured

IN
Bowden: Has been pretty good for Coburg and was used sparingly today
JON: Should get another go after a good game for Coburg today
(Graham): Only if Simmo is injured

I wouldn't be suprised if Tivendale comes back in aswell as he was BOG today. Schultz was good today kicking 4 however Cleve kicked 2 last night which would mean tthat if he does come in it would be for Jack

:)IMO, the 18 named Thursday night...that is:
McGuane Bowden Thursfield
Raines Polak King
Newman Tuck Edwards
Pettifer Hughes Tambling
Brown Richardson Riewoldt
Simmonds Johnson Foley
and at least two of the interchange players (Connors and Pattison) is probably our strongest line-up, barring three of our injured players (Deledio, Coughlan and Polo).
That is the sad reality...we weren't far off our strongest side for the year, which shows just how far off the pace we are.
I wouldn't be tampering with the team too much.
I would think Moore's papers have been stamped and he will venture back to Coburg for the final time, whilke I see no gain in perservering with Krakouer.
Maybe bring in Pat Bowden and give Casserley a crack, but we are largely a young team and first, second and even third year players are not playing their best football towards season's end. The bodies need to time to adjust to a full 22 game season.

The Age TV Guide;

"Geelong vs Richmond (2pm, Fox) at SS, which will appeal to the sort of people who find that seal-clubbing and kitten drowning are enjoyable spectator sports."

:D:D

I would go with the following changes:

Out: Moore simply not up to it.
Pattison looks like a long hard season has caught up with him. Give him a run at Coburg.
Krakouer 9 disposals on return from the VFL. Has had enough time to show something but never really does.
Subject to Simmonds being hurt would keep in Pattison
In:
Graham with Pattison looking tired/Simmonds hurt should be given a shot to see just what he is made of.
JON assuming he gets off at the VFL tribunal then get him 5 more games at AFL level.
P.Bowden another experienced head to bring in to the side. Instead of re hashing the same olds we have all year give pat the chance to rediscover his best form

Any chance Terry will try the Adelaide tactics from last year to strangle the life out of the game???
