Pretty much everyone's thoughts here. Tambling is such a yucky selection.

What are the options?

LJ - coach wants more than 1 good game in the SANFL
MJ - deservedly dropped. Had he stayed in, pitchforks aplenty
Nutta - See Tambling complaints
SK - just returned from injury
LT - Don't need another 3rd tall.

It's a matter of last man standing, I think.

I suppose so, hopefully Kerridge gets his form up so he can finish in the team ahead of Tambling.

How long does it take to return from injury? Kerridge missed 1 game, came back and had 29 touches and a goal in the SANFL, why is he incapable of playing for the Crows this week?

Whos gonna be the sub tho?? Lyons, Hendo, Tambling and Grigg on the bench. Grigg looks likely to be sub unfortunatley! Better not be Lyons.

Dunno. Depends on what kept him out.

I'm still to play a full 90 minutes from my injury earlier this season!

Waste of time picking Tambling.

When will the club wake up snd realise our performances aren't "form" and we have an issue with our quality?

No Kerridge is stupid and short sighted.

As Bacon8 has said, there's not too many options that are cherry ripe for this week apart from Grigg, assuming Kerridge isn't fully recovered.

The thing Tambling does offer is that if he goes into defense he could potentially release Smith into the midfield rotations. Although looking at the bench he's a monty for the green vest.

Pumped that Grigg has his chance; he has well and truly earned it. He deserves the benefit of at least 2-3 games to get up to speed with AFL pace.

Disgusted that Tambling is in; should have been Kerridge.

I thought there was a club rule that we had to play at least one Performance Centre resident every week?

No problem with the ins. Hopefully bling has a full game to prove his worth

You're still to play a full 90 minutes, ever :p We're probably looking for a sub this week - why not get Kerridge back into the side in the vest, if he's not quite 100% yet.

Why would we assume that? Why not send VB to defence to release Smith into the midfield rotations?

This is just the most unbelievably short sighted team selection I have ever seen. Tambling is a no-brainer to delist in 3 months. Nothing he does in the next 6 weeks will change that, unless it's like that movie Thunder Struck and Dangerfield gave him a football that magically transferred Kevin Durant's talent into Tambling's body.

Yeah, but he previous 2 games he absolutely stunk it up. He will get plenty of opportunities.

Kerridge was in great form for Sturt last week.

Vince and Mackay only needed one good SANFL game to get back in the team and Porps only had to train well.

Viva the Gold Passes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And the game before that he was named best on ground.

How many times have Vince, Mackay, Porplyzia and van Berlo beed BOG this year.

Yep that's correct, between the 4 of them that would be one less time then Kerridge. And their collective form in the matches against Freo and Sydney:rolleyes:

Tambling best on ground, and in every subsequent Crows game for the rest of the year. Bookmark it!
Love for this to happen. Bling has one problem with his game for me and that is his short disposal can be suspect (esp under the pressure of the half-back line.) He is a good tackler, quick and a good shot on goal on the run. I would like to see him play the small forward role at some stage before the end of the year as I think he would go well with his skill set there. Cue the howlers, no problem, I hope he proves everyone of his doubters (and that's most) wrong. Good luck to Grigg on his selection, stoked to see us reward his good form finally.

Yes, I can.. given that Sydney didn't pick him either.. and Adelaide has chosen McKernan ahead of him..

Given you have outsourced your opinion to the selectors, does it still hold in reverse when they pick one of your whipping bois?

Or is it only a valid standard when it suits?

Tambling more than deserves his shot, probably his last one. His form at SANFL level has been very good, better than Kerros. The ridicule he gets is beyond ordinary, plus hes miles better than Jaensch.
