Wright for sub, maybe?
I think Wright was named on the ground and not the bench. Usually the sub comes from one of those named on the bench.

Inside midf? he would get beaten up badly.
Do you think he could play up forward/Half forward? I thought thats where he played most of his jnr footy.
Must give you credit for having so much faith in Tambling.
It could just be that we've decided to delist Tambling, but use him as a fringe player while he's still here, and this week was it.
Presumably if Kerridge was fit and ready we'd play him.
Right?![]()

Help me out here somebody. Does there exist some sort of legal obligation (duty of care or something) that binds or constrains a/the club re the management of a player whom the club may seek to delist midway through a contract period? What I'm saying is, is the club required to have selected and given the player a chance to 'show his wares' at some stage through the season to mitigate payouts etc for a mid contract termination? So is this a precursor to delisting?.....that is if Tambling is in fact mid-contract?
You think Tambling might have trade value and you call those questioning his selection hysterical.Absolutely stoked to see Grigg get a go.... By the way Sando talked he is a certain starter for the midfield.... Love this, none of the BS sub stuff here.
Dear me, some of the hysterical, shrill reactions to Tambling have been almost embarrassing.
We dont have 20 Gary Abletts to pick from, give the lad a chance, he has been picked (ostensibly) as our 22 player..... AND IS REPLACING THE JELLYFISH JAENSCH. Geesus, get a grip people, the season is shot and we need to start having a look at players or at the absolute minimum giving them some trade currency.
If Bling gets 20 odd touches and looks capable, there will almost be a meltdown on here Norf style.

When was the last time you watched Tambling play? He has no trouble what so ever with the tough stuff, having seen a couple of his SANFL games this year it's definitely his strength. His ability to win the contested ball at that level is easily a level above. What isn't a level above is his disposal, there's no thought, no care it's just about getting it to the first guy he sees as quickly as possible.
Oh and Tambling was definitely a midfielder with both inside and outside qualities as a junior, you don't get drafted as high as he did without them. Unfortunately everyone's just put the old stereotype into play and assumed he's a soft outside player who should either be a small forward or a half back flanker.
Nobody here claims they are better than Richard Tambling at football, but that doesn't mean they can't criticise the dismal performance he has offered the Crows since being here, and the dismal performance he offered Richmond before getting here. What we look like in comparison on the football field is irrelevant. When you go and see a movie and it's shit, do you refrain from calling it shit because you couldn't make a better movie yourself?
There is nothing worse than a hot girl never filmed from the right angle.

It's obvious he doesn't have a future with us and he shouldn't be taking the spot of someone who does.
Having said that we better play him as the small forward as some have suggested, if as expected he is the sub why select him? Can't improve his trade value on the bench
He has had more than enough chances and has not taken them.
He hasn't played this year, and we have been giving gold pass games to the likes of Mackay, Jaensch and VB who have been terrible.
Forget his name his Tambling and just think we are picking a fringe player who apparently can tackle better than half our side and has some mongrel about him...![]()
He has played this year. He played a shocking second half after coming on to replace VB in the showdown. He hasn't played this year, and we have been giving gold pass games to the likes of Mackay, Jaensch and VB who have been terrible.

I would also like Wright to be the sub as he is carrying an injury, but more likely to be 1 of the 2 ins.I think Wright was named on the ground and not the bench. Usually the sub comes from one of those named on the bench.
