what happened after the first qtr? Dangerfield winged was not the sole reason surely?

Reid went forward and we lost our shit...

Thommo has no defensive side and is responsible for performances of Hannebry, Prestia and last night Pendlebury.

He is either injured or in some poor form. Still getting the ball, but is completely unaccountable at the moment.

Give Lyons his role.

Out Danger, Thommo, Jeanch
In Grigg, Petrenko, Tambling

I feel sorry for thommo. not only is he playing injured, but he is being matched up on players with 5x his pace and he just simply cant keep up. Thommo needs to be played H2H with players like Josh Kennedy, Luke Ball, Matt Priddis etc. Not Dane Swan, Hannebery, Prestia etc. He will get beat time and time again the poor bloke. Its like Playing Rutten on Jeff Gartlett and then ripping into thommo. However, the matchups do not excuse his horrible turnovers. hes seriously having a shocker of a season.

For me changes would be:

Out: Jaensch
In: Grigg

If Dangerfield is injured:
In: Shaw (if hes fit)

To be honest wouldnt mind resting Thompson he needs it badly
In: Petrenko

As much as mackay didnt too much, his intensity did look a lot better this time round. the kid did try. He needs to be out on a wing ala Andrew Gaff style. He seems to be playing way to inside for mine which is a joke. Swap him and Sloane around and our side would probably improve 10 fold.

Wouldnt mind also bringing in LJ & hartigan but for who im not sure.

I guess Matty Wright is another who looks to be struggling. To be honest it puzzles me how last year hw excelled greatly playing as a run with midfielder and yet this year we have refused to play him in this role? Masssive What the **** to our coaches. However, also seems to be struggling with that corky. Kerridge or one of Shaw/Pets could come in for him i guess depending on the danger/thommo situation.

Not prepared to drop Otten just yet. He didnt really have an opponent last night and was a bit lost. He did go forward at times, but wwasnt really played deep enoguh forward. Was often floundering around 50m doing nothing. More the coaches fault, not his.

Collingwood stopped turning the ball over, that's what happened. Our midfield was getting stomped before and after Dangerfield was injured.

Spot on.

I think Thommo is injured, but even if he wasn't, asking him to match up on those players is always going to put him under the gun.

Problem is he's doing stuff all with it. Season is gone so time for Thommo to have a break.

OUT: Jaensch, Wright, Danger (inj)
IN: Grigg, Johnston, Petrenko

Shaw needs to prove his fitness, having not played SANFL for the last 2 weeks.
Kerridge also has injury problems (?)
Johnston has 1 week to impress, before Smack comes back and forces him back to the SANFL. Good luck - it could well be the difference between a new contract or being delisted at the end of the year.

Don't think Pets will be an 'In'... He only got 1 disposal for the whole game in the SANFL, so that may either indicate an injury or something.

FWIW:
IN - Grigg, Callinan
OUT - Jaensch, Dangerfield

Move Grigg to defence, play Smith in the middle.

yeh, I agree. there must be something wrong with him. I can recall a player just giving the ball up by hand direct to an opponent but then dig in hard at other times. I don't know the problem, but at this point in time, he should be setting himself for next year.

out - vb the run with player that just runs with. jaensch - if you can't get on for a 1 arm injury or take over from any number of non-performing seniors then sorry mate. thommo, have an op or take some time off. its either over for you or you are carrying something into each game that you shouldn't and the club is killing you.

in - no idea. like to see pets down back. grigg apparently super in the sanfl. is kerridge fit? lj was good last year is he fit. shaw. and martin, ffs give him 5 games in a row in the position that he is born to play. is it that effing hard.

Jacobs, you're close mate.

Out: Danger (inj), Thompson (rest), Jaensch, Jenkins
In: Grigg, Johnston, Petrenko, Hartigan

Let Jenkins dominate in the SANFL for a few weeks. Needs more time with the ball in his hands. Play Hartigan down back and rotate Truck/Talia forward depending on match ups. Lyons in the guts. Smith to the wing.

In: Grigg, Johnson, Shaw

Out: Jaensch, danger (injured), Otten

Lyons to move into the midfield with danger out. LJ to CHF and Shaw to be that 3rd defender.

And who gives Sauce a chop out??? He's already showing signs of fatigue after a restricted pre-season and indifferent form all season!!!

Not to sure about calls to put Laird in the guts, he needs another pre season at least before he went in there. He'd be bloody competitive but just not big enough.

If LJ doesn't get the nod this week he is delisting fodder...and I'm not confident on him being picked which is a pity as we should spend the rest of this year putting crosses next to players names for seasons end.

I at least hope Grigg gets a few games to show us where he is at, he is still young and may still have deficiencies in his game but hopefully his monster boot will give us something to think about over summer

Outs: Jaensch, Camporeale

Ins : Grigg, Bailey
