I love impey as part or our structure, but I think he could use a big confidence boosting game at the maggies. I'm pretty keen to see Stewart back, young deserves a full game, Newton must be close, butcher structurally is needed, hombshe was missed. So provided all of them are fit then I'll go

In Moore, hombshe, Stewart
Out S gray, wingard, impey

Why is everyone rushing to make changes after two great wins?
No unforced changes for mine. S Gray has another two weeks until Monfries gets back. Maybe he keeps his spot, depending on Youngs form.

I'm liking the discussion but I'll wait until the Maggies play tomorrow to see who's played well, who's injured and then who trains on Tuesday before finalising my ins/outs for the Cats. Taking my lads down to training on Tues arvo for a BBQ & autographs - they're already pumped.

Plus remember, we are all about being the best we can be. A marginal win don't mean we can't make our side better still. If we won by 100, I'd keep team same.

Like others, I'm having a re-think on Monfries because of the Judd injury. I don't mind the alternative idea of having Aaron Young play a full game in a half-forward role similar to that played by Monfries. He's a few cm taller than Monfries, although a bit lighter. Apart from that:

1. Butcher to replace Sam Gray for structural reasons; and
2. Hombsch (if fit) to replace O'Shea.

No idea who to use as sub. Just not Matt White - he's playing far too well at the moment.

Bring in Butcher, and use Gray as the sub.

I dont know why everyone is talking about Judds injury :/ its got nothing to do with anything lol Judd was out with an achillies injury not a hammy! It just so happened that he over stretched and tore it today!

Was listening to 891 and they are so dumb, they questioned wheter Judd should have come straight back in. It was just unlucky for him.

I just think that the team with Butcher is better than the team without Butcher. He provides another target and he takes an extra defender from Schulz and Westhoff. He didn't have a big impact on the score board but he was involves in a lot of plays which led to scores, either directly or indirectly.
Well said. Dish offs, marks, blocks, score assists, field kicks both long n short and some tenacity around the ball :)
Look he's an eccentric gangling gawk at times but an 195cm+X factor nonetheless.

On review of the game replay, I dare say gray's and cassisi's spot would be the only two in question

butcher and moore might be suitable against geelong

I've been one of Dom's biggest critics in the past, but I think you might need another review of the game replay. That was the best game he's played in years.

A difference from last year is that we've dropped significantly when it comes to clearances. We finished last year 6th in the league and for 2014 are currently bottom 5 in total clearance numbers.

Not sure why that is happening but hopefully Moore makes a strong statement soon.

Wouldn't this mostly be Lobbe not yet returning to the beast he was for much of last year?

Clearances are just about the most overrated statistic in the game. It helps if you win them sure, but given the rolling maul style stoppages we're seeing these days there's more importance in run, spread and accuracy from that stoppage and the next kick further afield (intercept score launches).

Fun fact: In a certain game we lost by 119 points, we won the clearances 34-30.

Will a Power cap pass the dress code?
no problems with that I wore my never give up power tee to the Norwood/Port game and no opposition supporter said anything to me.
