Unless we find the run and hardened edge I can't see us beating this mob and the sad thing is, they're actually not very good. We're just deplorable.

Was at the game too. Were you, by chance, wearing a Tigers jacket and sitting behind the goals the city end? Saw a fellow Tigers supporter sitting near the North cheer squad.

Anyone who watched Brisbane vs West Coast today would have seen how impressive Duggan was coming on as the sub late in the third term (ended the game with 11 disposals and was involved in three or four goals). Which leads me to Corey Ellis who is a very similar talent to Duggan and why he should be given a go against Geelong. He has a couple of strong performances under his belt now at VFL level and he is ready for a taste of the big time.

Astbury kept Hawkins goalless last year so I would try that first.

Maric needs a rest after four weeks? Gotta be joking! Griff and Drummond are both definitely out. I think arnott will lose his spot before Lloyd and Gordon as dimma seems to have a hard on for them.

Foley has got to return as does vickery for griff, can see Corey Ellis getting a game but if I were him I'd be nervous. Knights, Drummond and lambert all injured in debut or first for the year

Yep and we have reverted back to using the same players we had at the begining of last year...took most of last year to weed them out of side...then what does Hardwick do at the begining of this year he put them all back in the side.. the sooner we stop giving games to hack players the better..

Players such as Morris, Lloyd, Batchelor, Grigg and Gordon to a lesser extent (only played two full games) are the one that should make way for others.

Ellis has played a solid few games now, but given his interrupted pre season I would start him as sub.
Lennon to come in and play HFF where he belongs

C.ellis on a HBF adds some skill and class
Lennon on a HFF adds the same
What we can't add is size and grunt in the middle, we need a beast and they don't come cheap or overnight.
I think we have the talent but play in the wrong positions and a coach that is too conservative
Add foley in the guts this week and stick dusty at FFWd, Ellis and Lennon and a ruck in Hampson that can go 4 qtrs.. I'd bring in Elton as well

How you missed Loyd has me stumped His game was the worst I have seen of any Richmond player in 20 years. It was like he was turning it over, fumbling every possession and not chasing on purpose.

Out- Griff, Drummond, Loyd hopefully never to play again he was that bad, Morris - ditto loyd, never want him in the seniors again, great guy but limited footballer, give a kid his spot which imo could not be any worse.

Give McBean his chance, if it dosnt work look to give McKenzie a chance later on if Vickery's form drops again.
Get back to basics, use the 3rd tall fwd out at HF to give us a long option again, put players back into their natural positions, blood the better kids and get games into them now...imo.

Hmmmm, Hampson will give us absolutely nothing up forward. It will be like playing a man short when he goes forward. We have to play TV IMO. I like all the other ins.
