I have cried hamishs head.... how many more do you want me to cry for

Like i said i have given up on him being dropped....but he is liabilty
He's trying to hard, looks like he's already done what he wants wants to do in a contest before he's done it. Bad body language at the moment after a contest, walks away head down hands on hips.

Ok put it this way, identify what did Jasper do last night that deserved being dropped? How many goals were created from his specific errors?

Drop Pittard?
Lol no

He takes the game on beautifully. That kick to Schulzy in the first qtr that led to a goal was magnificent.
Yes, he may stuff up some things, but it's part of footy!

Can anyone at the game enlighten me how Stewart played as a natural forward? I never really like him as a Forward but from afar it looked like he created some space.

I thought his output was slightly below par and if Ryder is 110% fit he comes out for Ryder but has he improved his patterns? To be completely honest if he can create space and play as a decoy with maybe 1 lucky goal a game I'd be ecstatic. My Ryder in call was specifically to get patty use to the structure which will take a long time and he needs to play so he can play the role in finals.

I'm choosing Moore over ah chee purely because they are in similar form, but Moore has been deserving of it for longer. Ah chee has only just stepped up this year so needs to bide his time like others

Hamish isn't going anywhere. yes he is a bit down on his disposal efficiency but his team first defensive acts is what's getting him games and as we all know ken loves defence and team first. What everyone is yet to realise is he's second in our tackles only trailing ebo by one. I forgot who said it but the quote was something along the lines of you can have a crap day out in terms of building disposals but defensive acts - things you can control through effort is what makes a player and which can contribute to building form. Pretty sure it was after the eagles game when Hamish had a shit one but still laid 10 tackles. he's been slowly building throughout the year it would serve no purpose dropping him down to the sanfl or even vesting him.

Hartlett is struggling but he has enough credits that we probably can endure the old Choco-style 'play him back into form'. Everyone else played well enough that without players returning they should be selected again, though it was a bit hard to get a handle on Young. If either or both of Trengove or Ryder return then cruelly it will probably be to the detriment of some combination of Stewart, Sammy Gray or Amon.

Not sure why people have Stewart as an out, I really liked his game ....
His game was was one his best in years, but he's a top-up player now. He wouldn't go for a Mitchell or an Ah Chee, only for someone further up the food chain.

I'm not going to weigh into who the inn/outs should be but I'm pleased that even knowing our side isn't quite performing to our expected standard there is genuine depth pushing for selection which can only be healthy.

Ah Chee for Amon
Ryder for Stewart

That's the only changes I'd make. Knowing our selections this year we'll have a surprise or two though.
I think Amon needs to stay, he is the perfect replacement for Polly if he is done for the year, I like Paul Stewart up frount , his attack on the ball has been welcomed.

I would love Youngie to correctly drop the ball and use a drop punt more often.

If I was going to make a change I'd like Moore for young , more grunt please.

You might not have to worry about Joel Selwood next week after he pressed his fingers into Ben Howlett's eye late in the game vs Essendon

The Channel 7 commentators didn't say anything about it afterwards. My guess is the AFL will try to sweep this under the rug like they usually do whenever one of their golden boys does something untoward.

I've seen players receive fines and suspensions for much much less than this.
I'm not seeing an eye gouge? It's a hand in the face, but is he gouging the eye?
If anyone who had been suspended for an eye gouge had actually been gouging an eye we'd have an awful lot of one-eyed footballers walking around today. Anything in the danger area is an eye gouge, doesn't matter whether the finger is turned in towards the face or if he's touching the eye.

Would like to see Ah Chee get a full game for a couple of weeks. Think he has a future with the club.
Yeah but we just can't make up a spot. He looked like he was getting his shot a month or so back, did a couple of sub spots and was dropped. Outwardly that seems harsh but there must be a reason. 30 disposals against Centrals.
