We have to come up with a plan to stop Dangerfield if we are to win. We don't have a Kornes type tagger so do we

1. Tell Ollie to sit on him and not let him win the contested footy at stoppages; or
2. Try and play a Cassisi type player who can't keep, up with but at stoppages, just tackles him on every occasions and forces Danger to go to ground like Dom used to do to Ablett; or
3. Do we give Johnson, who traveled to China in the 25 the job who is our quickest player and tell him to run with Danger and don't let him get away and have a learning experience game; or
4. try someone else.

I reckon Ebo will get a run with role on Selwood. Stop these 2 and Geelong wont get enough supply of the ball to win the game as they wont play a counter attacking game like west coast did against us.

I don't mind this idea. It would definitely help evolve the defensive side of his game as well. I'd choose Dangerfield for SPP, with Ebo going to Selwood.

The thing is though why did we play him down back if his best position in the AFL side is up forward?

He might have started down back but he played up and down the wings.

Besides it's not like we don't know if he can play there.

spp isn't the best defensively. Might go ok on Selwood though as he is more inside, but Danger would shred him.

I doubt there will be any changes, and a couple of magpies (Young?) would have only played half power in case they are needed on a 5 day turnaround.

I'd go Ebo on Dangerfield. Ebo can match Dangerfield athletically/physically, SPP would get slaughtered at this stage of his career.

Who normally gets Selwood. I'd be inclined to put Boak and Selwood head to head.

SPP only plays 65% of the game so not sure that is a good match up for the whole game. And as Chachi said he doesn't have strong defensive side.

Only joking, give him one more crack at it and then either persist or forget about him and develop AJ or Palmer.
