It's good to see that we took to complaining to the umpires about Gawns treatment instead of calling on our players to do something about it

I think it's actually possible to do both.

Yeah, all clubs seek clarification on what is allowed and what isn't all the time. We're not whingers for doing so, but hopefully the players show some balls this week and stand up for big Maxy after not one of them could be bothered last week. I'm not sure how our fitness can improve significantly enough to win this weekend, but I just want to see the boys stand up for each other. That was the most disheartening thing from last week. The skills and fitness will slowly come back, but not standing up for your team mates when they get beaten up like that, is unacceptable at any sporting level.

Was a little bit surprised Lockhart has come into the side really early, but I'm really happy for him. If we were to have another player come in alongside May and Lockhart, I hope it's KK. Will be interesting to see what selection looks like when it's released tonight.

Honestly happy if we bring him in over KK because I'd rather KK get a full month of VFL first, he only played 8 games last year amongst his concussion issues.

1 game in a VFL practice game means well deserved? I think it shows we could be hitting the panic button already due to so many players injured or underdone. Geez our top line players simply have to stand up this week. Viney could be missing this week? Or does someone like Spargo miss? Does Hore and Wagner get another go knowing we have another VFL player getting a game? Selection will be intriguing..

May be short but will play harder that any our blokes did on Saturday..

Can lay a ripping tackle for a smaller dude.. would expect he will play forward for us with maybe a bit of time through midfield.

No, toiling away in the state leagues for years, persevering and improving his skills + fitness to make onto an AFL list, and then going out and dominating his first game since the signing is what makes it “well deserved”.

The VFL practice game wasn't his first game of footy ever ... He's 23 and just got on an AFL list two weeks ago, he's done it the hard way.

And in good systems too.. 2x premiership player with North Launnie in Tassie and a member of runner up grand finalist in the VFL.

Yeah probabaly 9 or 10 players that Id drop before Wagner based on that 1 game alone.
