The reasoning with McEntee would be his forward pressure tackling machine thing, but as all things Port it's based on the idea of it not really the reality.

The messaging from the selection table must confuse players some need to belt the door down, others are rushed back in & some get in on the idea of it with little or no form.

Really hard to know. The obvious match ups are Tuohy, Guthrie, Bews or Duncan but wouldn’t surprise me if they’re going to use him on De Koning or Henry - like we did with Johnson on McGovern. Almost a blocking, knock them off their line, get them to lose sight of the ball and the intercept and ensure they can’t help with ball transition.
