Changes vs Geelong

**** off Winders did his hammy? Were screwed. Stants and Winders are our 2 best running players. Dyson has to play now one would think.

You would think that Dyson will play given he has had a couple of good weeks for Bendigo. Guess we will have to wait and see how Winderlich comes up. Lets hope it was nothing too serious and he went of early as a precaution.

Champion data stats are pretty clear actually. If you miss a target it is a clanger. They do account for effective kicks and those that miss the mark ;)
I supose you also missed the fact that two of his pass's from the center ended up hitting forwards for a goal and his handpass to Campo out of the middle also ended up being a goal.

Do they show being outmarked and being too slow to get to the ball?

With the new injury to Winderlich and Welsh getting off. This is assuming Lloyd gets off aswell.

In: David Hille, Angus Monfries
Out: Jason Winderlich, Mark Bolton

Yeah he is too slow to get the footy
As for being outmarked i suggest you go back and watch the last quarter of the West Coast game where he took a crutial one on two mark from a kick in late in the quarter when we where 1 point up.
2007 Jason Johnson
8 games
averages
12 kicks
9 handballs
6 marks
3 tackles
Not bad stats for someone who plays around 75% of the game each week.

Comparing him to some others in the side.
JJ ave 21 disposals
Hird ave 22.2 disposals
Pev ave 23.8 disposals
Campo ave 16.5 disposals
McPhee ave 20.9 disposals
McVeigh ave 18.8 disposals
Watson ave 22.2 disposlas
Winderlich av 19.7 disposals
Stanton 22.8 disposals

Just because he gets the ball doesn't make him fast.. JJ is slow.

In:Rama,Hislop,Gus,Jetta
Out: Bolton, Stanton (inj) Winderlich (inj) Camporeale

gotta bring some pace back into the team against Geelong. Cats are very quick. Rama in the best again for Bendigo. I think the young man is ready to make a comeback. Hislop has been likened to Brett Kirk from Sydney, in and under and finds the ball a lot. Gus kicked 3 on the weekend for Bendigo and was also in the best. Jetta ready after his groin injury and as i said need more pace against Geelong

He has never been fast. No where have i said he was fast. You said he was too slow to get the ball , i simply pointed out that he can get the footy over 20 times a game on average.

Jetta isnt ready. Has had trouble getting near the ball and his fitness currently isnt good enough. He will be taken along quietly as they dont want to risk his groin problem developing into OP which he has had in the past.
Rama isnt quick ,in fact now days he is a bit on the slow side. He hasnt really got the fitness base for senior footy at the moment. Yes there was talk about him being promoted from the rookie list but that was all it was talk. After having close to 2 years out he isnt ready yet.
One would suspect Hille will come in ;)

Mate lets just agree to disagree... JJ is a hard worker and he bleeds red and black but I think he is getting towards the end...

Sat next to David at the Melbourne game. He is a top bloke.. He moved away at half time because of some ******** melb supporters tho

Hey i dont disagree he is getting towards the end . JJ himself has said that he wont be able to go any further than next season. My only point is he has not been as bad as people have said he was. Yes he isnt getting any faster and he isnt as good as he was but he has still been handy coming off the bench.

I think it will probably go something like this:
Out: Lloyd, Winderlich, Bolton
In: Dyson, Bradley, Hille

Laycock to be played forward most of the game and about kick 4.

IN: Dyson, Monfries, Hislop, Hille

OUT: Lloyd, Stanton, Winderlich, Bolton

These are the changes i'd make, its obvious that Stanton won't play and Winders likely to miss. Bolton may keep his spot due not wanting to make too many changes.

Hille can ruck for the majority with Laycock/Ryder playing up forward in cover for Lloyd. Dyson comes in to provide some run ( give him 80% game time), Hislop to provide a bit of toughness around the ball and Monfries to help cover Lloyd's loss by playing a lead up half forward role.
