Changes vs Geelong?

waite will get a week (not a bad thing) makes too many mistakes and gives away too many free kicks. If you watched the game closely yesterday freo tried to go through him. If we are fair dinkum about moving up the ladder and contesting for a flag within 5 years then we need to put him up for trade at the end of the year. We will hopefully get something of value. Don't post replies with bs about him being a superstar, super centre half back, blah blah because at the end of the day his disposal is just, his decision making is poor and his ability to give the opposition goals has been there for all to see. (he is 24 not 18 shouldn't be making the same mistakes now that he has been in the system for 7 years) I personally would rest Kruezer and Judd this week as Geelong will come out breathing fire. Don't come on here and tell me we will win. Lets be realistic and hope that we can compete. We are not in the class of the top 4 just yet.
Ins - T-Bird (if fit) Banno (ditto) and maybe Anderson
Out - Krueze and Judd (rest) and stupid oops waite out suspended)
Kidding yourself if you think browne or grigg will get dropped watch the last quarter and see how grigg went. Wiggins presents and has balls. Shouldn't get dropped either. BTW - the setanta experiment hasn't worked. Once all players return good bye Irish.

IN: (if fully fit)
Bannister
Cloke
Thorton

OUT:
Hampson
Wiggins
Browne

I can see Browne getting dropped (probably doesnt deserve it but I can see it easily).

I think Cloke won't be ready but.

In: Cloke & Thornton
Out: Sentanta (needs to be dropped into seconds this week, can't afford him in the side) & Browne (we just need bret thornton back in, so some1 has to be sacrificed)

For those people saying Kruizer needs to be dropped into the seconds, you gotta be kidding yourself. Right?
The kid is only in his first year and this week will give him a real test against the premiership ruckman in ottens (if he returns).

But im betting my left and half my right nut we beat the cats by 1-2 goals, in a very close one!!

GO BLUES!!

Can't believe so many are calling for Kreuzer to be dropped. Developing very nicely IMO. Could be a watershed game for him against the cats... their comparitively poor ruck division of Blake and West will give him the chance to pick up a lot of kicks and hurt the cats around the ground. Ottens won't play.

hahahah your post was stupid... your trying to be logical, but you must be a hiding collingwood supporter... do you really think Waite has "trade-value" i dont think so, hes a great player for us, we depend on him down back, and it's also a joke to think we should rest Judd and drop Kreuzeur... Anderson i dont think so.. how bout dropping WIGGINS .. FFS!! Maybe your his brother, yeh he goes in, but he has low talent for AFL LEVEL... the stand out was Grigg, what a great future ahead.. but seriously O'Hailpin...

He is not a forward!!! he is a good defender!! just give him some time, we gotta persist with him.. he was really good last year, commentators have even said that he looks like a defender who could play 100 games for us.. why sack him and say he was a failure of a forward (ratten want's him in the forward line).

No change - unless the possible returnees are fitter than any of Saturday's team. T-bird was not even close this week so I doubt he will be 100% and as much as I would like Clokey in he would have to be 101%

are you all there champ or just trying to take some of the P I double S?

Resting Judd and Kruezer... Kruezer yeah a run the magoos could be worthwhile but from memory one of my Ants mates said he was returning to Old Ivanhoe for a run this week because the Ants had the week off... But Judd, hahahahahahahaha come on you must be taking the P I double S now!

As for the setanta irish experiment, there is already a thread on that and your so far off the pace it isnt funny but then again so was 95% of you entire post above...

Firstly Setanta hasn't been in the system for 7 years, he was drafted in 2004 at the age of 21 from Ireland!

Unless my reading is up the s__t, I think you will find he was referring to Waite being in the system for 7 years and at his age should have finer disposal and decision making skills.

Firstly i must say Waite won't be suspended, the act was a clumsy attempt to put late pressure on the handball, but impact was low and wasn't a strike, rather a push in the face with two fists so the tribunal will look but not lay charge, would have to be the first report for a push in the face.

Those wanting Hampson dropped for Cloke, need to think, who else is going to play ruck and have the ability to jump high which is what Hammer brings and games is the only thing that will give him experience, bring Cloke in and keep Kruezer up forward, stretch the Geelong defence for height. He also had 14 hitouts against Freo, good effort considering who he was up against.

And those that are calling for Setanta to be dropped, watch the past two weeks...he deserves his spot and is the best match up for Mooney. Somebody who shows toughness at the player and ball is what we need against Geelong and big Sets brings that all.

The advantage of having Edward in the team this week was evident, it allowed Fisher to push up and create across CHF, it gave our onballers another target, and takes another defender, and if you rewatch the game you'll see Edwards also pushed up the groud to create a contest, he helped straighten up the forward line, lets keep him in and push Geelong's defense....Fev, Fisher, Kruezer, Edwards and the ever dangerous Betts.

I say stay the same, if Cloke is available bring him in and give Brown a run in the 2's, give 100% game time in the 2's, and like Pfeiffer he'll be better for the run and game time and be back in a couple of weeks, lets not forget its his first year and he'll get another 200 games easy based on what he has done so far.

ROFL lololololol!!!!!!!!!!!!! omit browne! bahahaha

We need experienced players to get over Geelong. As good as Browne was on Saturday he's still at the lower end of the scale. It's either him or Edwards.

using that logic we should bring in Saddington and Ackland.

Collingwood won with the kids (wellingham, pendelbury and co.) there is nothing to suggest that we couldn't do the same should all the planets align!

In: (If 100% fit) Bannister for a job on Ablett / Bartel.
Cloke because we miss him and he's our no 1 ruck.
Thornton to do a job on a small or tall forward.
Out: Wiggins did ok but the ins are too good to leave out.
Edwards is unlucky but just needs development.
Browne for the same reason.

Left Kreuzer out because if he can sneak a couple of goals it could be very handy. Remember Geelong's backline isn't that tall and we could exploit them there.

in:cloke(rotate him through the ruck and chf), thornton
out:o'hailpin(love the bloke but he really is not showing the improvement he promised), grigg(bit stiff to get droped but is the least needed in our team to make way for thornton)
Are you serious mate?

Just a quick one, I have been told by many Carlton supporters that Collingwood is still a useless team despite the Geelong win. Therefore Geelong most be terrible and I now believe that your side that got over Fremantle by 9 points should be able to easily account for the cats with an unchanged lineup.

Should I believe people when they tell me that the Geelong win means nothing or should I wait untill after this week when Carlton who I have been told are better than Collingwood give Geelong the same hiding that we gave them last week?? Any thoughts

This bloke isn't the worst and sometimes even comes out with a sensible comment or two but can we card him once in a while just to keep him in his box a bit? Huh? Can we, can we?

If he pleads guilty he can't get off, but he also can't have his suspension increased either, if he challenges

So if he challenges he could get off?
