I don't think Sheed will come in, check out the WAFL game, Maginness outperforming him, and Colledge and Tunbridge are ahead of him in development....
http://www.wafl.com.au/games/view/9760
Maginness is rookie listed so cant play. Colledge and Tunbridge are injured. So that leaves Sheed as next in line to come in if they want to drop a midfielder. Would most likely play as sub.

I'd be happy to drop Selwood or Masten so they can find some form in the WAFL.

Out: Cox (rest FFS), Schofield, Hutchings

In: Lycett, Sheppard, Sheed

B: Glass, MacKenzie, Bennell
HB: Hurn, Brown, Sheppard
C: Rosa, Priddis, Gaff
HF: Wellingham, McGovern, Yeo
F: LeCras, Darling, Lycett
R: Naitanui, Shuey, Selwood
I: Ellis, Sheed, Cripps
S: Masten
E: Sinclair, Hutchings, Schofield

Need to start pumping games into Sheed. Masten's turn for the green-vested kick up the bum.

I think dropping Hutchings would be pretty harsh, got plenty of the ball and tried hard all day. Skills aren't flash but i thought he was fairly decent today and it'd be unfair to drop him.
That's the frustrating thing with our team. We are keeping players in because they are the few that try hard, but at the same time they kill us because they have absolutely no skill whatsoever.

I don't think they'll play a bloke who's not showing he would improve the current team at AFL level is all i'm saying.

unfair, he just isn't up to AFL footy - he is gone, a dead parrot, fair has nothing to do with it. Not drop retire and bring up a rookie. we have to develop- this season is over

Sheed got named as 1 of EPs best with 25 touchs. Cal sinclair kicked 6 goals and Ash Smith kicked 3 with 21 disposals.

The longer this season goes the bigger the dilemma of when to drop cox and glass will become.

Lycett us approaching the stage when he could be played ahead of cox on merit

On today's game McGovern could arguably be played ahead of glass on merit

From a longer term development pov we are probably better off getting games into those two ahead of the veterans, neither of whom should be playing next year

Not that I have a better suggestion but these changes do not address the midfield 'problems'

Oh i could launch into a OUT - Masten, Selwood, Priddis, Hutchings

Only i don't really see a point because it's not going to happen. I see my changes as semi realistic.

People on Facebook saying Cox has 2 good seasons left in him

Only because they wanna see him get to 300 games, Naita slowly and surely returning to full fitness will help Cox a little bit, but I can foresee him getting a couple 'rests' from now until the end of the season

He wasn't great though, 19 possessions at 58% efficiency and 1 tackle.

Basically I wanted to get Sheed a full game.
Yep, wasn't saying he was.

Was very good early and faded as the team did - spent large chunks of the game forward though.

On a side note, I'd love to know how a tackle is defined, I looked at this stat at one stage after he'd made a huge one on one tackle and brought the Hawk to ground, although the ball spilt out to a Hawthorn player, and he was still on 0.
