There won't be mass changes - the principal failing last night was system, not individuals (you can point to virtually every player having a howler at some point, and you can't drop them all, much as I'd like to put a boot up Zurhaar's derriere).

Like it or not, but stability is important to system: Archer for Whitlock, FOS for Hansen, Wardlaw for Stephens or Tucker (with one of those two the sub)

Stevens didnt exactly set the world on fire but given few others did i can give him a pass for at least another week. Especially given scott again was ordinary. Elvis sure picked a bad week to get injured because a spot on the wing is wide open.

The biggest issue we have is if Xerri doesn't come up. Would rather rest him for 1 week than lose him for 3 or more. The question is who do we play in that role. Do they just have to roll the dice and bring Goad in regardless of whether he is ready?

In Pink, out Logue. Pink looks like our most in form defender so he just edges out Logue who looks like he needs more match fitness.

In Archer and out Whitlock. Archer clear best 22 and we had too many tall defenders anyway.

In FOS, out Tucker. FOS to play that hybrid defender distributor role that Tucker plays.

In Wardlaw out RHJ. Not like for like but Simpkin, Powell and Stephens can rotate through to cover RHJs role leaving Wardlaw with more midfield minutes.

Pink in. Ford in. Fisher in. FOS in. Arch in. An inanimate carbon rod in.

Ford hamstring out for a while as for the others after watching the VFL only Wardlaw,Pink maybe Teakle if they rest Darling then O’Sullivan and Archer so possibly 5 changes as for the scapegoats Whitlock,Hardeham,Hansen,Tucker and maybe Darling.
For people wanting Daniel,Zuhaar,Powell and Logue to be dropped won’t be happening.
The worst thing is the VFL have a bye next week then again in 2 weeks after that so whoever is dropped will find it hard to get some sort of form.

Not sure about Comben forward but l agree with the outs eventhough Zurhaar wont get dropped. Keeping Whitlock in for his height to help out against King would be good and Pink is definately an improvement to Logue atm. l would like to see Phillips in also and Wardlaw but l think he's still wont be in for another 3 weeks.. Heaps of changes can be made but wont..unless players have injuries..ie LDU and Simpkin.

I think they should start giving some of this role to FOS. Takes the pressure of Daniel as well as making us less predictable.

He'd be better than Tucker / no one that they are currently employing. However, I'd personally prefer FOS to be the next link in the chain across the mid-wing. Maybe that's more of a long term wish list kinda thing and for now, it just has to be better than what is currently being rolled out.
