Seriously:

Given that Lynch had 31 touches and Lyons 28 in a losing Reserves are they a chance to come in?

Not sure given that Sando didn't make changes for the Saints game and wanted to show faith in the ORIGINAL 22. Good payoff methinks.

No changes for mine (except that spud Martin out for Mitch).

If you are going to base selection on whether the reserves side won, we won't see any changes the whole year. Our reserves side will be lucky to get within 5 goals in a game

So what is it?

In 2005 - Robert Shirley was coming to the end of his career.

In 2005 - Gary Ablett Jn would have been a 20 year old, just starting his time as a Geelong midfielder.

Allegedly he said Shirley was the best tagger he had faced but at that time, he wasn't good enough to tag a premier midfielder.

Someone us telling porkie pies.

What like Judd, who he continually killed?

Man you are a rambling fool. You're wrong and the more you speak the more wrong you get.

He was fine to play. Good players, tough players, play with an injury. Petrenko obviously isn't one of them

Thompson played with groin problems all last year, lynch had an injection every game, and douglas is playing under extreme circumstances at the moment. Dangerfield is probably playing injured as well. It was a terrible performance by petrenko

He wasnt fine to play, his shoulder was shot!
He had no confidence to mark or tackle (Which is his only skill).

Medical staff should've put a line through him at the beginning of the week.

17 touches at 94% efficient, 4 tackles, 4 rebound 50s, 1 goal and kept his direct opponent Templeton to 8 disposals.

Why is there even talk of Brown being dropped?o_O
People seem to forget he is only 21 and he finished 6th in our B&F

Because this board is full of nuff nuffs and clowns. No way Brown is getting dropped.

Why are people talking about Laird being dropped too? aint gonna happen
Loved his game such a champ. Really added a spark around the ball and up front. Brown and Laird are locks for the next 10 years. Sando has a man crush on both. Can't understand the criticism he dosent back youth in just look at these 2 he has played them at every opportunity and they have flourished

You must be stunningly arrogant to think that your opinion has any value whatsoever compared to these great men. Quite frankly, you need to reassess your opinions, because you are 100% completely and utterly wrong.

Lynch, yes. Lyons, no.

Sorry but I just found this statement very ironic and funny.

And yet, you have this belief that Lewis Johnston can not play - yet Barry Robran says he is a brilliant kick and too good for the SANFL. Arrogant much.

I have no problem believing that LJ has a brilliant kick - and I've never argued that he's not. Unfortunately, he's too short, slow and not strong enough to be competitive at AFL level. There's also the fact that his work rate is below standard for an AFL player. Not sure why you'd find that ironic or funny.

and you are a ****ing jerk.

Continually killed - get your hand off it and stop stroking the mayo maker.

It's called having an opinion, I never rated him and nether did many others.

If you enjoyed his unskilled, laconic bullshit disposal, good on you but my opinion is - he was a crap player who didn't make us better one bit.

The fact you would have said the same thing about Tex Walker.

Also, you are arrogant enough to not allow anyone else to have an opinion; yet you are.

Will be tough to drop anyone this week, but Lynch needs to come in.
Lynch plays the Riewoldt role for us (not quite as well obviously), but he's crucial to provide another lead up option on the wing in case Jenkins or Pods decide to spud it up.
Martin may be dropped, but I can't help but feel he is exactly the type of player we need to come on as the sub.

Is it possible that a 25-28th best available player, is actually the best player to choose as the sub based on their attributes and game style?

He has leg speed, and usually uses it well. The sub should really just be instructed to run run run up and down and back and then up and back again x 10 in the last quarter. Just like Matt White did to us in the showdown. Off the top of my head, the only players who really fit the bill as being able to play that sort of role, are Smith, Jaensch, Mackay, Henderson and Martin. The first 3 are best 21 at the moment, and Hendo is obviously injured. Kerridge is the only other that goes close, but he is too important as the stopper at the moment, and I don't think he has the speed required.

Would Sando pick his best 22, then pick the sub?

Maybe he should be picking his best 21, and THEN the sub. (if that makes sense)

The fact you would have said the same thing about Tex Walker.

Tex is a very different beast to LJ. Tex needed to improve his work rate. He did - and was reaping the rewards prior to injury. LJ needed to improve his work rate and has done naff all about it for 5 years, and now looks likely to be delisted at the end of the year.

I'm happy for you to have an opinion, it would just be nice if you weren't 100% wrong every single time you expressed it. There's opinions and facts. Opinions can be made to look really stupid when they directly contradict the known facts, which yours most certainly do.
