I've got a weird feeling about this week tbh but if we lose this we don't deserve to play finals.

This is probably one of the last weeks that we would want to make big changes to the squad before we get the team settled for finals but i doubt it will happen. Wood should have been given a chance over Black over a month ago and instead we've learnt nothing about wood whilst Black's confidence has withered away. I think Harper should come in for mullet and play that defensive half back/winger role and see how he goes. I'd also rather see wells play a full game in the VFL rather than play as the sub.

Obviously Bastinac and Adams should be dropped but we all know that brad scott won't drop his love children.

It is why having some class in the middle is critical. McKenzie did a few ripping kicks per game but I am not sure if his general disposal by foot had the consistency it has been hyped up to be. He also has other consistency issues to address.

Yeah this is true and it is something really lacking with our team atm, delivery. Ziebell and McKenzie would have to be the best two imo atm at hitting a forward option

Watching only on tv I can never work out where Bastinac is playing. Seemed to just float around on his own in the first half last week then got a lot of the ball in the 3rd quarter. Maybe he could do a close tag on someone.

I am a Majak fan but jeez he frustrates the hell out of me. Maybe I like the concept of him more than the reality. But he was the only one who looked remotely like taking a mark inside 50. Petrie just cannot get separation from defenders any more. Gets spoilt way too often. And Black is not strong overhead. Our forward line is in horrible, diabolical trouble. How long is Ben Brown away?

Sadly Blacky appears to have been receiving kicking lessons from A Swallow. Both players' kick of choice appears to be the NRL ''up and under''. The ball goes high and spins fast and comes down just as fast. Maximum distance travelled = 40 metres. Like a 9-iron into the green from 120 metres.

The first player that I saw use the kick was the bloke we recruited from WCE during Dean Laidley's coaching stint. #19, balding years ahead of his time. Not much good if you can't kick. I can't remember his name.

I am not sure why people are so impatient? It's only round 20, and the forward line set up of Petrie, Black, Brown/Daw and a half game cameo by Robbie still has plenty of time to gel. :stern look

Hopefully we won't be playing in the sand this week and they've finally fixed the turf down there in Canberra, was disgusting in the Bulldogs game a few months back.
