perhaps if he had more than 5 disposals to 3 qtr time i would have been happy. no, i would have been pissed. what he has produced this year has been shit up the wall, whether thats due to injury or form is beyond me, but he should not be in this side.

I agree Black did enough last week to earn a spot in the side based on ONLY last week. It was a solid 5/10.

The problem is that last weeks performance is top 3 for his best games this season. When you turn a blind eye to consistently bad performances mediocre performances start to look encouraging rather then run of the mill or worse.

The same problem applies to Adams.

Why are wood and dumont not ready, when they have played consistently good football all year, and Kayne turner is? Now im stoked that turner is getting a debut but there is no way known, and this is not a pot on kayne, that he is more deserving a debut than mason wood or trent dumont.

It's not so much him not debuting Wood and Dumont that pisses me off, it's the fact that he isn't punishing the passengers in our side week after week that really gets me angry. E.g Bastinac, Adams, Black

Why should we settle?

It's not about if they are ready or not, but I think they are, its the fact that guys that are playing abysmal footy are getting games ahead of them.

They have shown form at VFL level, so they deserve a shot. If the players in the senior side were performing, then I have no issues with them having to wait their turn.

And to answer your question, you could stand still with your thumb up your arse and be an upgrade on Adams and Black at the moment.

"Drawcard"? More people would come through the turnstiles to watch Dumont and Wood debut than Black and ?, whoever that is?

Anyway, happy to see Brown for Daw, happy to see Turner get a chance. Seems pretty clear that Mullett needs to reset - hope he sorts himself out quickly because he has been so important to our ball movement and scoring.
