Name the last game Sloane played mainly as a forward? Midfielders often spend small stints up forward. You may as well name 15 forwards if that is your thinking!

Still won't name your 22, because you have checkmated yourself once again...
Oh so now he well spend time up forward as greenwood will maybe even ROB

You change your tune dont you

Still not convinced regarding Gibbs. OK, he did a cooling job in the second half, but at around the nine and a half minutes to go mark in the third quarter there was a contest he squibbed on. If Tex was singled out for that the week before I hope one and all do not miss that one. Inexcusable!

Unsure of fitness

Also forgot Hartigan

Im not sure what they think behind closed doors, but we are a better chance of rolling the Tigers at home, then Giants this week.

I would rather have Sloane and Mrouch ready for that match. Would be a massive win for us too as we have the certain loss following that with Geelong.

Gawn would have spanked Sauce.

RoB is our main Ruck now

Pretty much. Anyone suggesting that Sauce replaces ROB has rocks in their head. Sauce is completely, and utterly finished.

What is all this love for Stengle. He is just an opportunist forward. A lot of ball skill but basically a receiver . A good SANFL player at best, not a good tackler. Would Richmond have given him away if he the next Eddie, I think not.Murph's tackling power alone keeps him in.

Eddie was such a shit player, because he's an opportunist forward. That must be the strangest thing I have read on this board in a long time. All small forwards are just opportunists offensively. Not only that, but the difference between a small forward in the SANFL and AFL would not be much as really, you're surviving by already being an opportunist, it would just be the case of adapting to less time which Stengle will inevitably do.

Also, Richmond probably would have without much of a fight if Stengle wanted to leave. He's pretty much the exact opposite of what they want in a small forward as they've just about abandoned the idea of getting good offense out of the position and just want defensively excellent players who can bob up with the occasional goal. No matter the talent levels, if the piece doesn't fit, don't keep.

He's the heir apparent to Betts, and should become a 40 goal small forward (who hopefully is rather cheap salary cap wise) in the long term.

Sauce's role this year should be to give ROB a break which I think he may need. Other than that. This should be his final year.

I wouldn't bother personally, unless ROBs form tanks horribly. He needs to learn how to play through fatigue.

And the umpire call HTB when O'Brien just got the ball, another crap call against us that night.
True, however no one in their right mind should be hand balling to ROB in traffic in the middle of the ground. Mackay had time to find a decent target

I think he was looking at the give and go, but Jones was running quickly behind O'Brien so MacKay was likely blind-sighted which resulted in Jones tackling O'Brien straight away.

No my tune is consistent.

For the 6th time, name your 22.

Put up or shut up!

All comes down to fitness so its hard to pick until we know who is available

Harto after being replaced by mackay in if fit, Crouch in Depending on fitness

Sloane out if unfit

Murphy out omitted

That would be it, Douglas, Sauce and Pohlkoke if continue with form will be pushing for selection, but no doubt injures will come into play and ROBs lack of ability at the top line

You are devoid of any balls...

I do hope the crows selectors don’t carry on like you guys [emoji14]

If the Club really wants to engage with its supporters, it should allow Bigfooty posters to turn up on selection night.:thumbsu:

I actually genuinely believe there would be fist fights. Not between the Crows staff and posters, but amongst the posters.:drunk:

Here is my take on selection.

I think any player that has issues or is not 100% will not play. Mrouch wont play. Sloane is definitely out.

We have just a 5 day turnaround v Tigers. We will be sitting ducks and lose both against the Giants and Tigers here if our preparation and selection is off.

Not sure if SANFL is on Sunday or not, but you can lock in players to be rested from that game this weekend as well.
