I think basically from that it will be Jetta in with Ellis out. Frase is just injury cover in case McGov doesnt come up. Good to see Cole named in recognition of his work on the weekend, even though he's unlikely to play this week.

That forward line is ridiculous! And Hill still on the bench. Lycett, Hill and Duggan are all in surely? Still think they could go either way with Bennell and Hutch. Great experience for Cole heading with the team to the MCG! Can see him on debut sometime very soon.

I would say Mcgovern is playing. If he is under a fitness cloud whats the point of flying him across the country hoping that would improve his condition? If he was good enough to be fit today he is only going to get better with the extra time of a few days.

I'm not prepared to get firm in the pants about Bennell just yet. Hawthorn will run a tighter defensive ship than they (and Brissie) did in R1. If Bennell provides as much against the Hawks and Freo I will be prepared to be more positive toward him.

It's been a long time since we had a quick skill full jet like him

I have always felt our club shunned indigenous players too much ...not a racist thing just maybe bad luck that the ones we recruited were duds

Hill Bennel Jetta is excitement plus but Cyril still gives me cold shakes when I think of him

Hills been decent but he isnt that flairy or has too much x factor about him, benell's an average player but is having a good patch at the moment. In the next few years we should go after guys like martin, ah chee, pickett, jarrod garlett.

I rekon even a charlie cameron would be nice. Im keen for jarrod pickett. Martin could be a potential steal as he is underachieving abit up at the suns.

This might sound odd but west coast went into mode of not recruiting anyone who had any "issues" after Ben cousins saga ......many indigenous players do come from difficult pasts (hey I have many info out clients as a counsellor) and we as club went very conservative after Ben cousins saga and rightly so

Plus Kerr, chick and hunter also ......

So we now don't recruit anyone with issues ....they must be a model citizen

our recruitment for between 07-12 (excluding 08, 10) havent been that great to be honest. Its only now we are making bolder decsions when coming to recruiting and drafting.
