Rodney Eade used to play Lindsay Gilbee on dud talls and burn them on the rebound. We should be doing the same thing this week with Dale.

Have Keath or Khamis as sub in case we break another big guy during the game.
Keep it simple. Hawks don’t have a tall forward line so no real need to bring Keath straight back.
Scott out for Baker, either Baker or Arty sub
Simple plan. Libba gets in his ear .... Sicily goes astray. In a plan for J Sicily
Out the idea we don’t need a plan
Nice one Baldric.Simple plan. Libba gets in his ear .... Sicily goes astray.
It's a plan so cunning in its conception that you could pin a tail on it and call it a weasel.Nice one Baldric.
Except nervous of playing them in this form. This was supposed to be an easy one!Hawthorn currently 44 points up in the final quarter against Collingwood. This is a good omen as it lessens the chances of Hawthorn having an upset win against us.
I take that to mean they'll still win ... just that it won't be an upset. Right?Hawthorn currently 44 points up in the final quarter against Collingwood. This is a good omen as it lessens the chances of Hawthorn having an upset win against us.
Will give others the opportunity to stand up and be counted (excluding Libba who always stands up and is always counted). That's where the interest, and our prospects, lie.Amazing how often we play the hawks late in the season in Tassie, last round in 22, second last in 21 cost us ta top 4 finish now 3 last round in 23. This game spells danger with a capital D. the Bont will get a hard tag.
Why would leave JOD out? Have you not forgiven him for leaving your cricket club?B- Duryea Keath Richards
HB- Dale Jones Johannisen
C- Macrae Libreatore Williams
HF- West Naughton Daniel
F- Weightman Lobb JUH
FOLL- English Treloar Bontempelli
I/C- Smith, Poulter, Vandermeer, A.Jones
Sub- Baker
I will be one of the tas public supporting the great dogs.I wonder if the Tassie public will remember us from 2021. Played a couple of games there and did everyone a favour by keeping Essendon's losing finals run going. Surely we endeared ourselves to them and could count on a reasonable level of support.
Previously posted in the wrong thread. Don't blame me, blame this delicious Japanese lager.
You could be right but why in gods name would we bring him back in? Poor decision making amd even worse disposal. Opposition teams literally encourage us to switch through him a or Gardiner due to their disposal. If Keath is fit he plays.
Pretty much because there is no one else. Keath may not be a world beater but he is better than Gardner or Bruce as a KPD. Busslinger appears not to be ready and JOD is only a few games into his career. The Hawks have 3 200cm players so we do need a tall. You could be right but why in gods name would we bring him back in? He is a good back up for Jones and should get a contract for that depth, but surely we have seen only 1 of Jones, Keith and Gardiner in any team, with Jones ahead by the length of the straight

I’m of the firm belief we’re going to need to play with 3 tall defenders if we’re serious about beating anyone decent. 2 keys might work against the average to mediocre teams but I highly doubt it will get the job done against quality. You could be right but why in gods name would we bring him back in?
