As far as the game goes... Over to you Scott Lycett. You get your moment due to the most drastic of circumstances, it's time to do the club proud after it's just invested so much into you. Should be attacking every contest like his life depends on it. It's going to say a lot about his character, how well he digs in.

Terrible news, heart goes out to Nic Nat and close friends and family.

Hope he gets all the support and time he needs, footy really is put in perspective for the guys in this situation.

Condolences to Nic and his family. These times remind us just how important foot isn't. It's just a game and entertainment for a lot of Australians. That's all it is.

To individuals it's a career.

But family always comes first and so it should.

A lot of football people have been reminded about this with the tragic passing of Phil Walsh. Here is another reminder.

Nic will need time off and that very lickly will include next week as well to attend the funeral. And that's just fine, it is what it is.

The game will go on but lets just remember what's important in life.

Can't see Lycett doing much tbh. He hasn't even been able to be consistent in the WAFL let alone AFL.

I would have been confident Sinclair could hold his own, if he hadn't had that knock to his knee last week.

Will be interesting, but I don't hold out any hope of winning unless Hawthorn implode.

Oh. That isn't good. I wonder what has happened to him? He was sposed to be the next best thing for us. Can you elaborate?

This time last season lycett moved into beast mode. All the motivation should be there to crack in and make a claim for a spot in a top 4 bound side. Of course there are the rumours as a bit of OP and we saw how detrimental that was to nic. I wonder who takes the first centre bounce?

Surely he can't be over his groin problems? I wonder how bad it actually is and if we're just trying to manage him to the end of the season.

With Richmond's loss last night only have to win 2 of the final 5 games to confirm a top 4 spot. Win today and top 2 is basically locked as well.

Yep Crab Cowder with white pepper is on the menu tonight.

No fine quality Alaskan King Crab, Dungeness or Blue Crab, to please the fussy foodie on tonights menu.

Tonight house speciality is the mixed combination, made from the following :

The McGinnity Crab tough shelled hard to crack but lacking any real taste.
The Selwood Crab tougher shell than the McGinnity but when its put under pressure the meat fly's out in all directions.
The Hutchings Crab soft shell, shit to meat ratio is poor.

Then the substitute The Rosa Crab much bigger than the other three types of crab not a lot of meat on it and the flavour is quite bland.

Sinclair is listed as a knee so I wonder if they think go precautionary with the injury and the weather, and just play the one ruck for this week.

Especiallly if NN gets the week off next week for his mum's funeral.
