Jesus I can’t remember us playing so many wet games
I feel like every game has at very least had a forecast for showers.

We should be used to it.

But just in case maybe dont go too tall.

We should be used to it but we definitely don’t like it.

Also it means I get rained on when I go to the game on Saturday

And how many missed tackles?

Who knows.

The simple fact is Petruccelle averages more completed tackles then Masten from less game time. So he clearly can tackle. Considering its comparing a 13 gamer versus a 200+ one I think thats pretty good.

As for who is the better kick. Thats very subjective but I can tell you right know who is the more DAMAGING kick statistically (hint: its not Masten).

Out: Gov, Masten, Vardy, Allen
In: Rotham, Rioli, NN

Initially was worried about going in with too many forwards, but NN will have limited time on ground and Hickey doesn't rest forward anyway. So we'll have 7 forwards as per normal.

I reckon we won't risk Barrass.
It's not like Hawthorn have the tall forwards to stretch us. We've got options for Gunston if it comes to that.

Majority on here seem to be hoping he keeps his spot.

Reality is that small forwards has gone from our biggest weakness to our biggest strength and we have too many:

Ryan
Rioli
Cripps
Petrucelli
Cameron
(With Venables also to come back from concussion injury).

That is a lot of high quality small forwards and now MC has some big decisions ahead.
I'm not sure if any team has ever fielded 5 small forwards but personally I would love if an effective system could be found that managed all 5 of those players, possibly it could be done with some sort of midfield rotation.
with Masten gone that is

I hope we aren't playing silly buggers with land of the giants again.

Cannot be all 3 of Nic Nat, Hickey and Allen.

Allen gets a reprieve to the backline if Barass doesn't come in.

Well the inevitable has happened. The AFL was never going to open the can of worms of liability that having 20 people sitting on chairs around the boundary could have on players. So ideally:
Barrass/Rotham/Schoey for Gov
Rioli for Cameron
NicNat for Allen

Given Gov confirmed and we won't go in with NicNat and a part time ruck, I think it may be...

NicNat in - OAllen out (very unlucky) When NN is up to speed it may be NN/OAllen rather than NN/Hickey, but for now it's NN/H.
Barrass in - Gov out (If Barrass doesn't come up then either Rotham comes in or OAllen gets a run down back)
Masten out - Rioli in (It would be really tough on Cameron to miss after 2 goals and (especially) 7 tackles)

I'd like to see ...

Nicnat in Allen Out
Rioli In Masten Out
Barrass In McGovern Out

Allen could use the spell in the 2's I think and Masten just unlucky. Would like to see Cameron retained for another week atleast.
