Got a sneaky feeling Mutimer will be in this week. Parto to miss again.

I don't know much about glandular fever.
How did Heeney recover from it this year in a few weeks?
Is there a varying level of seriousness with glandular fever?
honestly, i'll take that and run.Oh baby.
If he is announcing a retirement at season's end the downside is we may feel obligated to play him for the rest of the season.

Yeah, I can't help thinking it is counter-productive in the sense that if they now play him, it will look liked they bowed to the pressure and should have played him earlier. I can see them being obstinate on not playing him for another week or two and bringing in Mutimer and/or Karps. No chance Parto plays this week given Simmo's statements about him. Perhaps the calls to drop the older players and play Parto will actually increase the club's resistance to it in order to try to prove that that they were wrong.
I'm fine with Mutimer coming in. I liked what i saw from him when he played, he used the ball well but just needs to get more of it.Got a sneaky feeling Mutimer will be in this week. Parto to miss again.

He probably shouldn't have been dropped after the Essendon loss, either. There were plenty of others who played worse than Mutimer that day. He was actually equal second in clearances for us.
I thought he was pretty composed, particularly in the game against the Bulldogs.Funny, I thought he didn't use the ball well at all and he copped an injury in that Essendon game he didn't get dropped.
I liked his attack on the footy and deserves another chance.
Looking forward to the melt this arvo it's been a cold day.
