It's just a nuffie Freo account, but there's certainly something going on with his ankle. Don't think it's season ending but it definitely seems he has a few weeks on the sidelines coming up.
I keep saying the same thing over and over - he is too heavy and putting too much stress on his legs. Needs to tone down in the offseason.

Up until we moved into the new stadium i'd never even heard of the term syndesmosis injury.
Now i'm hearing it every other week and it's surely the most common injury for both WA teams.

Apparently Sheed to front the media for the regular weekly interview shortly so will be interesting to see if any journo's have picked up on this chatter yet and ask the question.
Gary Stocks will have schooled him on some bland responses. 'Yeah, I'm not sure, he pulled up a bit sore but we haven't had our main session yet...' blah blah blah

In Petrucelle, Waterman, Schofield
Have to rely on Thiccy and Oscar in the ruck, Darling to take forward stoppages. Don’t want to feed a child ruckman from the WAFL to Gawn for dinner.

Nic Nat is definitely injured and likely to be out for several weeks. Simmo and Sheed wouldn't say things like "he's sore" if they were thinking he might get up for this weekend.
Last game against Melbourne we used Vardy and Hickey which didn't really work. Will probably have to try Hickey and Brooksby this weekend. I'm confident we'll find a way and will keep on ticking over the wins.

Yeah JK needs to turn it around. Has to kick a few this week. Shame about Nic. Was giving us some good first up ball use. The loss to the Pies is having immense ramifications in regards to our ladder position and we can't afford many more losses if we are to hang on to a top 2. Going to be tough but we've been in this position before.
