Re: Changes this week

Cloke and Thomas to have a sleep.

Pendlebury given another week off.

Buckley to play for Williamstown.

I hope Malthouse hasnt been hanging around Cousins.

I'm thinking Wellingham may get a game this week.

I think both Pendles and Dids will be another week and it might be Josh that he is referring to having a rest.

Bryan and Richards to Ruck. That's scary:eek:

OUT: Cloke (if rested), Thomas (if rested), Toovey, Byran (only if fraser plays), Licca, Medhurst

IN: Pendles, Didak, Cox, Rusling or Reid (if cloke rested), Richards, Clarke

Re: Changes this week

In: Clarke, Cox, Rusling, Dick

Out: Toovey, Licuria, Bryan, Cook

I dunno about Dick. He's not doing much at Willie - poor game last week and if anything, he's lost weoght off his already anorexic frame. Have a look at the photo's of him from the Willie/Bombers photos thread. He's actually fragile and against the Bombers he just got brushed aside.

Wellingham is a moral to play, as is Rusling..

Mark my words :thumbsu:

I won't be disappointed if both play. Rus was good last Sunday apart from his direction. Good pace, very clean marking and smart. Wellingham? I don't know - I'd hate to see him get beaten up like poor old Tooves.

Obviously you have some oil however, so good luck to the kid.

It's hard to imagine Wellingham playing worse than Toovey did on Friday.

We could drop a number of players from last week on performance alone but won't concentrate on that now.

We need to look for players that would come in and offer something to the balance straight away. Didak and Pendles aside who should come in if fit, I would include for their 2008 debuts both Wellingham and Rusling.

Wellingham has deserved his opportunity through solid performances at Willi, he is a classy player who has good delivery and IMO would bring some much needed enthusiasm into our midfield.

MM said a few weeks ago that Rusling could be our secret weapon come finals, I trust Mick and although our forward line hasn't been our problem in the last few weeks, having speedy gonzalos in the side would be another option across the half forward line. If he is in line for finals then he should be given a go now.

Yeah Goldsack is a gun, only has 2-3 kick on him every week sh1ts himself under pressure can't kick or handball, makes the wrong decision 90% of the time, but hey keep him in cause he has a cool name.

That is worse than your first post. You obviously have been watching different games to everyone else. Apart from Pendlebury, I cannot remember too many first year players in recent seasons that show as much composure and he plays in a defensive position, usually against a bigger and more experienced opponent. :thumbsd:

I dont think Collingwood will win this game although they are favourites. Melbourne is your bogey team and are too quick & skilled in the midfield compared to your guys.
Even if Fraser plays he will be underdone and will get owned by White. If you rest either or both of Cloke & Thomas you are crazy. Melbourne will win in a blowout or a really tight one for Neitz.

Does anyone think Collingwood can actually win this game? I am not sure they can.

I am confident that we will beat Melbourne by a considerable amount. In the Forward Scout article on the CFC website, Alan Richardson wrote how there is a great deal of intensity in the way the players are handling themselves this week. To me that says that they are taking this form slump very seriously and will be absolutely ready to go... That may seem a bit weird to be confident from one little statement but IMO the reason for this slump is mostly between the ears. As it seems there mindset is noticably different this week, I am confident we can turn our game around in a big way.

Pies by 50 - Rusling to kick 5

mmm... Dunno.

I would like them to come in. Maybe could drop Medhurst. I'd like to see Cook stay for a few more games.

I was thinking medhurst and come to think of it I don't think Wellingham will come in unless someone actually is a late withdrawl because if he was gonna play they woulda picked him in the side and let him have the build up. Medhurst for Stanly maybe but harsh to drop him after he kicked three to be honest i don't think Pendles will play this week so might be Stanly for pendles although i wanna see him back.

Johnson is the other one that may be a late withdrawl for Stanly or Wellingham
